When you try to petrify a creature by making eye contact with them using your great eye, roll+CHA. ✴On a 10+, they're petrified so long as you maintain eye contact; while maintaining eye contact, you take a -1 ongoing to act against those that are not the target of your gaze. ✴On a 7-9, like a 10+, but choose 1:

I'm going with the native survival guide. I have put a lot of points into navigation but I'm not sure, whether that is exactly fitting; what I mean with it is orientation on land, so just tell me, if should change that into a separate skill. I also added Woomera as a skill, so I need to know, if there is a base in that and in case there is, it's height. Name will be there on Sunday | ||

It's all of them A Woomera is basically a spearthrower, right? In that case, i'd say just use throw instead. That would be base 25%. A normal thrown spear does 1d8+1+0.5*db, but using a Woomera should make it more effective, so that should probably be upgraded a bit. Do you have any plans as to how you can be inserted into the party? I assume that you are not always in the outback, but have some contact to westerners, because otherwise it would be really hard to get you in touch with them. | ||

I looked up the difference of damage between spear and spearthrower in another system (DSA) and there the damage remains the same, but the range gets about twice as big. But since we are not working with range that much and you get additional damage for close range in DSA, we could say maybe d8+2+0,5*db or d10+1+0,5*db. Also regarding that: My combined strengh+size is 20, do I get a damage malus for that or to I remain with nothing? | ||

Later on down the track we found a shack. At this point I think Andrew was asleep or missing or something. We went to knock on the door, to possibly resupply a bit and see if they would know anything about this B. Buckley, or the area in general. We were greeted by another one of those racist gentlemen with a large supply of whiskey at hand. He wanted us off his land and away from his mine, but there was a twinkle of recognition when we mentioned the name B. Buckley. After he shooed us away with his shotgun, Jean-Claude came up with an elaborate plan to kill him and take his shit. Basically it consisted of these steps: Din, go up and knock on the door, and then we'll kill him. Said and done. Din survived a shotgun blast through the door, and then someone started shooting from a window upstairs as well. Jean-Claude got hurt really bad in the fight while Din took two points of self inflicted damage from a pretty bad dynamite throw, and after Jean-Claude fell unconscious Din gunned down the two men. :D *toots own horn* Inside the shack was a virtuoso of a harmonica player (not really) in his mid 20's who was a bit simple. Not wanting him to perish after we took the water and food, we convinced him to come with us on a camel ride. As we journeyed onward, Jean-Claude got the brilliant idea to take away his annoying harmonica, and threw it away. Jacko, the simpleton came at him with fists raised and Jean-Claude raised his sword cane in response. Maybe he should have looked at his HP total before provoking this beast of a man, and maybe he shouldn't have rolled a 97 followed by a 98 in this particular combat... Long story short, he got punched to death, and that's where we decided to end the session this time. Rip in pieces Jean-Claude. Edit: Oh, and we found a pair of boots with B. Buckley burned into the leather in their shack as well, to further justify our actions. | ||
