Hey i´m 19 years and 5´9 (1,75m-1,76m). Since I was 13 years i grow like 1 cm (0,4 inch). My dad is 5´11 and my mom 5´6. My brother is 5´10 (1,78).
I have cousins that are over 5´11, I really wish I could grow more. Do you have late growth spurt stories? Share, thanks. I wanna be taller
I was one of the tallest guys in my class in middle school, but now a lot of my friends are 5´11 or taller and that´s very frustrating. If anyone feels my pain post and share!

no, you are stuck at that height forever
you should make a blog about your efforts to become taller by doing hilarious things

I hit 5'10 at age 12 and sat there for 7 years.
Then I grew an inch freshman year of college.

I've been 191 cm since I was 15, and im 22 now.
I've heard you grow til ur 21 or smt tho, keep ur hopes up.
Pretty bad OP btw... more effort and blogs would keep the thread alive.

Nope your probably boned. Why you care though? 5'9 isnt short.

I wish I was a little bit taller...
Hey OP, at least your not growing outwards!
|
Yeah, 5'9 is a good height. Be happy you're not like me who is 6 foot. Whenever I join a conversation I feel so boisterous.

Hit 5'11 at age 13 currently 20 and haven't grown a centimetre. Might be able to blame it on sleep patterns though

My uncle gained an inch after he started college, so it's possible.
Moved to blogs since this doesn't warrant a thread in general

I´m kind of frustrated because I was taller than most of my friends like 6 years ago and now a lot of them are towering me... T.T

Edit to give the OP hope I am 6'6". I grew about 2" after entering college

Maybe i should visit my doctor and check if my plates bones are fused, but i´m so scared to do so...

My cousin graduated high school at 5'10, and finished college at 6'10. Then he went on to become a professional baseball pitcher. It is possible to grow more after 19.
It is however, not possible to grow more once your epiphyseal plates are fused (end of the bones that is not fully formed or develop center of bone at the proximal&distal ends of any bone). For me sadly I grew to 5'11 when I was 13 and never grew again. My family is full of giant looking people so i bought all my clothes, shoes and, Letterman jacket very large assuming i would grow like my brothers did. 4 months after my 14th birthday I dislocated my clavicle playing rugby and got an x-ray and they told me there: That I was done growing. I was so heart broken. He said it so causally like...
'looks like your clavicle has been dislocated and you are all done growing as well.' It was... dream shattering ....

That´s sad... Anyway 5´11 is pretty good.

For me it was 5'8" end of high school, 5'9" end of university. I think you can still grow a tiny bit but probably won't reach 6' =(

Nothing wrong with 5'9'' That's pretty much perfectly average isn't it? Unless you live in Holland, fml.

nah youre boned. go hang upside down in your closet with weights attached to you and maybe you can be an awesome 6'2 progamer such as myself
