I'm flying into Singapore soon to do some travelling. Me and my friend will arrive in Singapore, and plan to spend a few nights there to check out the sights of the city / casino and go to Universal Studios there.
About 8 days later we are flying out of Kuala Lumpur to Seoul where we'll have another 5 days.
I've been working non-stop for the past 6 months, so I haven't had a lot of time to plan things out, so I thought I would ask here if anyone has any experiences they can share about recommendations and so on.
So the first part I was wondering was, I am going to make my way from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, however I'm not sure by what method yet. Probably some kind of bus or train. Are there any good places to visit along the way of this path, or destinations that I should visit in the surrounding area before arriving in KL at the end? Even if it's not on a direct path, it's fine. Southern Thailand could be a possibility if it can be done in that time frame and if the costs aren't too prohibitive. However I've heard the Thai-Malaysian border area can be dangerous for foreigners.
Second part was, SEOUL! Obviously starcraft is awesome and I will be keeping that high on my agenda. But otherwise, any tips on things worth checking out? Since I only have about 4 whole days there, I will probably stick around the Seoul region. DMZ would be cool to see as well, since I love modern history type of stuff.
Thanks!
