Well today has been a crazy heck of a day. I made a drink, I am almost almost top 1,000 in Masters NA according to sc2ranks. But today. Today. Marks my journey into LoL territory. The game is downloaded and I will be playing with my friend shortly. Let me start at the beginning of the day though...
This is sort of a long blog so I put spoilers for the classes in case you wanna skip any of them
I woke up at about 9:30. Full 8 hours of sleep so I was well rested. It was the day of my biology test. After I got out of bed I took out a beer and I played a couple games of sc2 with a troll of a guy. We played 2 ladder games in a row because we were like the only people queing at the time. The first game, he was trolling me pretty hard with the build that he was doing and the shit he was saying about south koreans being gooks...
I was responding fairly pleasantly though and ended up beating him game 1. Game 2, I decided to proxy 2 rax on Condemned Ridge. Not knowing he had map hacks, he made a pool and 2 crawlers that were halfway done by the time my first marine got up the ramp. Both of his overlords were sent to the corner of the part of the map that he was in (I watched the replay) and he didn't even scout where I was. Now it was time for class.
Chemistry
+ Show Spoiler +Wednsday is a funny day. I have chem in the morning. This is an introductory chemistry class. I know all of the material fairly well from the past because I had chemistry for 3 years in high school. The teacher is a joke. She is basically using a method she found on the internet that will help us learn better (her words not mine). Basically we divide into groups of 3-5, but NOT 6. 6 is way too many, but 5 is ok. And we work on a worksheet. Some people have a hard time doing it. I don't.
While we were going over the worksheet answers, I was showing my friends how much hair I had on my legs. None because I am asian. They were all like haha wtf didn't know asians don't have hair. Then all of a sudden I heard my name called and the teacher wanted me to say the answer to the last problem. Without missing a beat, I gave her the answer. She has been trying to snipe me all semester long in various things. So far I am evading them.
Biology
+ Show Spoiler +NOW, we are at the point of the test for biology. Our class is from 12:00 - 12:50. We started at 12:01. I finished by 12:26. It was just 54 multiple choice questions. I also felt fairly good about it because I had been studying the whole weekend plus Monday and Tuesday, so basically no last minute cramming. So we'll see how that goes...

Then after I finished my test, I had General Tso's + white rice (they were serving it today YES). I had a blue moon beer with juice from an orange squeezed into it. Simply amazing...needs more orange though.
Then I mixed a drink. It has juice from the real fruits, I had to take out about 20 spoonfuls from the fruit slices area. I added 4 packets of natural sugar (sugar in the raw). I added water, mountain dew, crush, and some sierra mist too. The result, is a thick honeydew with a bit of zing at the end aka invigorating to the tastebuds.
That whole process took about 20 minutes. Why might I have been doing this weird thing for 20 minutes? Well there were a lot of songs that were being played, Swedish house Mafia remixes from coldplay, Calvin Harris, T.I., Ludacris, and some other trance. wtf. It sounded like this shit was coming straight from my itunes.
Plus the fact that there was ALMOST no one there made the situation feel very surreal. Then the last person that I think I would see is there. It is the pie girl. wtf. I also saw her earlier in the morning. We were walking in opposite directions. I was just minding my business on the right side of the road. Normally people tend to walk to the left side if they are going in opposite directions. Not her. I look up to see if I get some eye contact or not and I see her just snaking right by me to my right (even though I am on the right side of the road) and looking away.
Then I saw her again after I made my drink. This time, I am on the left side and she is on the right and this time we make eye contact and she is the first to smile and say hey. I say hey back. At this point I am just beyond confused with where I stand with her. Unfortunately it's Wednesday and I am going back home on Friday so I will still be putting her off until after I get back, the following Wednesday.
In about an hour, I will be in LoL land....I feel scared. If I play with noobs....will this decrease my intelligence??? soo scurred

Get someone to go on Skype and spend an hour teaching you LoL. That's what my buddy did and it probably shaved 20 hours off the learning curve. Things like last-hitting, understanding how to ward, map awareness, and understanding how to control the lane / push the lane / let the lane push, downplaying the importance of kills, etc. He can also explain the typical top/mid/2 bot/jungle setup. This is stuff you'll figure out on your own, but having someone explain it directly really, really helps.
Edit: Conversely, Hot_Bid helped me with Dota2 and I still have no idea what the fuck is going on in that game. Eat leaves to heal? Using the courier? No TP back without buying it? Random side-lane shops? WTF IS THIS??

I used to play hon at a semi-competitive level. My only real strengths are last hitting, I am a pro warder support, carry, I played them all.
Only problem is I don't understand any of the heroes....haha eating leaves is runes of blight in heroes of newerth. You regen faster health per second than normal, courier is for getting items, gotta buy TP (i am more used to buying a TP than not buying it). league of legends is a very simplified game of dota 2 and hon...
