I think this premise can be used proactively to turn losses in SC2 into future wins... I've noticed that when I play with an attitude that I want to learn, or to internalize my play (allowing my subconscious to play to free my conscious mind to think about more important things), losses register in my mind as stepping stones towards future success. The trick, then, is to always play first and foremost with the desire to learn, and the desire to play, rather than the desire to win. Rather than dwelling on losses in-the-moment and reviewing replays right after the fact and whatnot, instead focus again on getting back into another game, and allow the loss to be one of those stepping stones.
Just a bit of philosophy to try and get my mind prepped for my first night this season playing as Gold.
(Later...)
Only played a couple games, and one of them was a rather funny match where I totally forgot to have any drones even though I was expanding. lol! I'm also trying to find a place to host my replays since http://topreplays.com/ appears to be have not been updated with 1.5, and I'm not having much luck. Oh well!
Oh, I guess it helps if you check your spam folder.
