So the Squirtle Seal game got me all nostalgic.
I present to you!
Pokemon Hard Mode- Starcraft Edition
The Rules -
1. Pokemon Faint's -> You must release it.
2. Each time you enter a new route, you must catch the first pokemon you see. If you fail, that sucks, you can't catch another one on that route.
3. You cannot go back to routes you have been to before you had poke balls.
4. Town handout's (Eevee) or water in towns can count as your first poke catch for the area.
5. You must nickname your pokemon to form attachment to them. Each time you have to release one, you will die a little inside.
6. If you run out of pokemon, including pokemon in your box, you lose.
7. At no point may you buy more then 1 poke ball per shop.
8. No items outside of battle, you get poisoned, run your ass to the poke center.
9. Battle mode is Set.
10. No Legendaries in battle
11. If your pokemon is more then 4 levels over your opposite's you cannot use him to attack your opposite.
My Story:
Me - Durden (after tyler durden the badass)
My Rival - Dumbfuk (after him being a douchebag for picking Squirtle)
I start off by picking Charmander, I follow up by naming him ThoZaIN
In Classic ThorZaIN fashion, I decided to growl my opposite until his attacks became child play, and followed thru by scratching him to death. I end up winning the battle, not suffering much damage.
After the battle I stop by my house to recover a potion from my P.C. I want to make sure i can make it to the first town with ease. I stop by the Pokemart guy and collect my extra potion. This shit is going to be easy. I am feeling cocky. On my way I dispatch a pidgy with the equivalent of a 2-rax. ThorZaIN is proving to be quite scrappy.
I grab oak's parcel at the mart and return it to him. Fool wouldn't sell me a poke ball either. I want to get my second pokemon quick.
After i return the package to oak i grab a pokeball at the mart and run over to Route 22, ran into a nidoran, which I captured and named him Stephano.
In true zerg fashion, Stephano makes it out of his first battle with 1 HP remaining. Rattata's last his was even a critical hit. Guess he never missed a Larva Inject .
And Thus end's part one of this blog. I have midterms at school tomorrow, so i'll get back to you all soon.

Part Two: The Death of ThorZaIN
Today on my journey I voyage into the viridian forest. Since i can only capture the first pokemon I see, my goal is to grab a caterpie. I haul ass to the free pokeball and manage to get there before a battle, which would have thusly been the equivalent of what eventually happened when a fucking Kakuna popped out. I'm naming this dude Goody in honor of his Turtly nature.
In Goodies first battle, we got to see his skills, which included Mass Hardening.
Eventually I got bored and switched to ThorZaIN. On his first round ThorZaIN got poisend so I pulled him out to conserve HP to get back to town. I pulled out Stephano to do his thing. Lucky for me Weedle has a thing for string shot so I managed to take him out without getting poisoned.
Sadly the Spoon Terran did not make it back to town . After shedding a slight tear, I poured out a potion on the ground he lay, in memorance of the brave lizard.
At this point, I really did not want to continue. But alas, I released ThorZaIN back into the wild an act that united Goody, Stephano and myself into a sacred brotherhood.
I make it to town without anymore hinderances, and grab myself a poke ball.

Part 3: The Battle of the Brock and Darkness Falls
For this I decide to stock up on potions, and move Goody to the back, no way I can afford to give him free XP during this battle. I managed to get Stephano to LVL 11 before the wild pokemon became to low level to train off of.
Brock sends out Geodude. Level 12. This is not going to end well. I'm optimistic tho. I managed to buy 10 potions so I think I stand a chance. Then the unthinkable happens. I attack him with my strongest attack. And it chip's at his HP. To make matters worse he starts using defense curl.
Despite potion spamming and horn attacks Geodude takes his toll. I managed to dispatch him and he takes Stephano up to a cool level 12.
I have 6 potions left. Now 5. And i'm spamming Leer on Onix during his bide.
I'm down to 4 potions, and I ran out of PP for Horn attack. I'm ending this thing with tackle.
Both Onix and Stephano's defenses are at all time low's from Leer's and Screeches.
Luckily, I am able to finish him off, and snag my first gym badge.
I move on towards Mt. Moon, in hopes of finding a moonstone once i get there. Along the way Goody maxes out on tanks and evolves .
Pushing my way towards the Moon, Stephano evolved after dispatching a Jigglypuff. Seems like the story of today is evolving.
Before I stumble into the cave I run into a wild Spearow. He's only level 6, so one tackle takes him low, at which point i toss a poke ball and capture him. I call him DRG. And set about the task of having him and Goody sent back into fighting shape.
Then due to a mistake on my part, stephano got slept to death by a clefairy. At first I was going to take a minute to mourn his loss, but then I realized my only hope was the hopelessly outleveled DRG. I got clefairy down to 30% hp before DRG got slept. DRG then fell victim to a pound from clefairy, and with him, my run into the hard mode.
With Goody my only member left, and his only move being harden, my loss was long and excruciating.
And Zeratul's Prophecy comes true.
To all those who wanted me to dedicate my pokemon to you, ill take note of you, and try and accomidate if i can manage to reach that point in the game, and am able to capture while abiding by the rules of the game . I think i'm going to switch from red to yellow for this next run.
