First is school. Always been an issue to me. I've always been a slacker and since my junior year in college I've lost almost all interest in my classes, but this semester is different. With some new friends in my classes I've got a brand new focus on school and school work in general. But it's not just the friends, it's the professors, it's the subject matter...I mean come on! Stalin and Soviet Russia? History of the Scientific Revolution? These classes are freaking fantastic!
I've also had issues on the relationship front as many of you who have read my previous blogs will know. And after a huge falling out I've rebounded and come out strong. I'm not the type of guy who aggressively goes after a girl, but I met her in one of my classes and instantly I knew it was game on, to be fair she gave me the up down when she walked in the room and THEN i knew it was game on. Went from talking in class to walking together after class to a date this weekend.
Lastly I've been trying to find a new job to help me get through this semester. I'm a huge magic player and the card store nearby has been hiring for awhile. I've played at this store plenty and eventually just manned up and asked if they still needed help. Turns out they were, eventually I received a call for an interview and now I'm working nearly everyday. And an added benefit is I get to essentially create my own schedule which will be super helpful when schoolwork starts to pile up.
I really don't mean to brag, it's just I haven't been this happy in a while and it just feels good. New friends, new job, new motivation. Just feels awesome when the piece finally fall into place.
