So last Saturday I went out and bought a new truck-asaurus and I'm in loooove with it already. So many fancy features that my old car didn't have.
...granted my old car was a cheapo american built muscle car and doesn't need no girly fancy stuff like seat heaters and crap, but man I love jumping in the truck in this 20 degree weather and having butt and back warmers. :D :D

I didn't take a ton of pictures because I didn't feel like it, but she's a 2003 Chevy Avalanche, Z71 package, with the LTZ options as well...the LTZ is the fancy shit trim package like 6-CD changer, heated seats, sunroof, blah blah. Z71 is the 4x4 Offroad/Towing package. It's an epic dark silver/gunmetal color that looks REALLY badass in the sunlight, unfortunately my camera phone doesn't capture this very well... ^^;;;
I didn't really want to brag about my truck so much as the fact that my coworker hooked me up with some awesome TL vinyls!!

They're gold because she didn't have any blue vinyl haha. I told her that she didnt need to order a whole sheet just for me, so gold it is. It turned out really good! They're super simple to put on, too...I stuck one on the back of my truck :D
Besides I think gold will look better on the black/silver truck than a baby blue one would :3

Before anyone says it, I know it's very slightly not-straight...it's not a big enough deal to warrant peeling it all off and using up one of my other ones, it's not easy to stick them straight without someone else looking at it while you stick em on TT
Hopefully it snows a lot this winter...I really want it to snow a ton just because in my Trans Am I would get stuck in the snow and had to abandon my car so many times, I just want to drive my truck in a foot of snow and be like F U SNOW CANT STOP ME NOW BITCH!

Where are you located? I'm actually moving up north and have to bring my car for work, and am wondering what driving will be like. In any case, congrats on your new vehicle.

considering how people don't stop people for wearing a TL team shirt though, not so convinced it'll happen. :p Maybe a blog about me will pop up or something haha.
I got a truck for a few reasons
a) Winters here have been getting worse (Washington DC area) and my RWD 210 hp car = no go in the snow
b) I want a vehicle I can go do some good ole redneck mudding in, I used to have a jeep and would go off roading with it all the time and it was a blast.
c) I have a 1978 Trans Am in restoration progress and I need something that can tow it around when I start getting major body work done. Plus something to haul parts in - such as an engine I'm purchasing.
d) Work - I'm tired of trying to crap a ton of tools and equipment in my tiny sports car. Have you ever seen a 6 foot ladder fit in a 2-seater? lol it's not pretty.

14.7 MPG average, says my on board computer...fuckin first day filling it up I'm like @_@ as the pump goes beyond 80 dollars ahhaha. I'm located in Northern Virginia, like 20 miles from DC.

Oh I'm moving to Boston rofl. Nova's a nice area though. I currently drive a 2005 VW Passat that gets somewhere south of 20 mpg as well. It's horrid, but my 99 Corolla wouldn't make it through the sludgy mess that is Massachusetts winter streets, so I'm leaving it at home. It also doesn't have anti-lock brakes. Also it's purple. Thinking about just selling the Passat and getting a Subaru or something, who knows :/

i used to have a Subaru Outback, thing was bitchin in all sorts of nasty weather. Gets my thumbs up if you do sell your car.

3) My 1978 Trans Am
4) My new truck!
Subaru and 02 are being sold, so I'll only have my truck and my show car once things are said and done.
