Tower control directly leads into map control, as towers innately help with managing creep flow in lanes. Removal of these towers means losing a lane, and that means quite a bit in a game like DotA. It also means that roaming is much more effective, because having a tower advantage in a lane allows players to forgo pushing a lane in favor of a possible gank on the enemy team. There are numerous other advantages to playing safe and focusing on towers to win lanes, but I'd rather leave the details to more experienced players than me. Kudos on the guide, and I hope that there are many more! I can't tell you how much I appreciate players like you educating those new to the genre. It can only be a good thing!

My build with him differed what I was facing, but I found that, even at max level, I would leave only two points in Repel. Because my heal couldn't go through my own shield, I felt that having it's duration last 10 seconds instead of 20 could be a lot more beneficial than the 20 seconds of Repel without healing. Thoughts? Why would you do that? The fact that you can give anyone a 20 second BKB is your best asset lategame, considering that your heal is not very useful lategame either.
