Description: This one is two somewhat popular songs that I felt lined up way too well at times, even if they had quite different sounds. I enjoyed making this one cause of the weird sounds and pretty good quality material I got to work with.

Description: This was the weird one for the week. It is also one of the two songs which I plan on fixing at a later date, because I used a pretty poor method to make it.
Dirty Disco Inferno

Dirty Harry by Gorillaz vs Disco Inferno by 50 Cent
Description: Another quick and dirty blend that I felt shared similar sounds more so than with their beats. I especially like how a fun party song could sound so dark when paired with the slower instrumental part.
Here are some tips for recommending songs

1. Pick songs that have similar beats per minute or BPM, if you can't tap it out yourself just search for it. To me, BPM is key because it is very difficult (for me) to bend songs that are of different tempo.
Example: 150 is a nice guess here
2. Acapellas and instrumentals. If you can find acapellas or instrumentals that can be shared/used you save me a lot of time. I don't always use just an acapella or an instrumental for a song, but it is nice to have options.
Example: A youtube video and a download. Would save me some digging if either was good.
3. Don't be scared! If you can nail the top two I'm sure I can come up with something, even if it sounds like crap
Extra Credit
It's been awhile since I've blended more than one set, but to be fair no one has been helping me with song suggestion and I didn't/don't have all the equipment I used to. Luckily I still have what I need at least for a few more blends. I also think I'm getting a slightly better ear for what songs can work together, which saves a lot of trial and error. I'm really going to try and fix the second song because I can't shame Nujabes like that. Hopefully someone will like it X:
