I recommend something like indoor soccer or handball because the games dont go for too long, you arnt required to train and they are much more social. Play a few games with people and you have something in common. You can start worrying about other conversation later on

I hate football @_@ I am so damn scared of the ball hitting my head or balls, which happened so often in my first school.. I am freaking skinny and that's quite bad. I am not one of those tallest guys, so basket ball isn't the thing. Maybe volleyball? I never was the sporty type.
