i THINK that chick might have been a random chick from the crowd who was just playing along

Even so, its sometimes good to take a break from fishing.
Also that... the fish aren't going anywhere, and sometimes a few months off can be a good time for a healing experience and just like getting back in touch with yourself.
Plus, cats are baller.
Unless the fish is like tuna, who are constantly overfished due to consumerism. Most people just run around with nets in the ocean, corral the fish, and tie off the bottom of the net. Then, they just pull them into the boat, where they are tossed into some small tank or killed and frozen.

Or perhaps the fish are like farmed salmon, which are placed in sea cages, or net pens, which are usually made of mesh framed with steel or plastic. There they are fed compound fish feeds containing fish meal and other feed ingredients, ranging from wheat byproducts to soybean meal and other vegetable waste.
It's ok man, we've all been there. Try getting dumped after 3 years; it isn't fun.
Remember that there's always another one around the corner. Little bits of attention will get your confidence back, and before you know it you'll be back to the self you were at the start of the last relationship (i.e. the one that gets the girls in the first place).
Enjoy the cat, but I'd actually advise against it and tell you to focus more on self-improvement.
And remember, don't burn bridges. Relationships that died when you were immature might work again when you're mature. I hear all the time about people breaking up, spending years apart and then getting back together and sometimes even getting married. If that girl isn't like that to you then don't worry about it; there is no ONE person out there for us.

Also this. "The best revenge living well," as my dad would say. Watch the Count of Monte Christo or read Wuthering Heights. A woman will never realize her mistake faster than when she sees you come back greater than you ever were before.

True. but it is worth noting that farm salmon are only sold when they are plump enough, or they lose fertility. They also can't swim upstream to breeding grounds seasonally, and require other ways to reproduce.
