I've been keeping track of calories and exercising occasionally (Im working on doing it more often... I swear ) and have lost 6 pounds in a seemingly short amount of time. Its been like 3 weeks I think, but that works for me.
As far as exercising, once it finally gets warmer out and stops raining constantly Ill be back outside jogging and skateboarding
I've also started learning C++ in an attempt to make myself more marketable in the job... market.
I've had no luck finding a job in my field (cartography) in these parts, but I hope to catch a break eventually.
I (keep starting my sentences with I...) have also found a new girlfriend of 3 months now, and we are both very happy. I feel a very good connection to her already, and I believe she feels the same way, too.
My depression and anxiety have been kept in check for the most part. I have not relied on anxiety medicine for a while now and while I do still take depression meds, I havent had any really bad days in a few months, which is great
Also, I am in the market for an emulate-able or purchasable RPG among the likes of Legend of Legaia, Suikoden, Final Fantasy VII, and Breath of Fire 3 for either the playstation one or two. I have a playstation three, although I rarely use it (its my dads ). While I have been playing Starcraft 2 frequently (platinum in 1v1, diamond in the rest), I have grown bored of WoW and would like to find a fun RPG to take up some time.
That could be it for now, but those are the big updates in my life. Thanks for reading, if you did, and sorry it wasn't too exciting
To boost the excitement factor, Ill include some videos and music I enjoy:
(Skateboarding) - Rodney Mullen is my favorite skateboarder. The things he can do on a skateboard are amazing.
(Skateboarding) - Jimmy Carlin is hilarious. He acts like a goof but hes super good at skating. Also check out his Flippity Flop Pit Stop video for amazing skate tricks.
(Music) - Incubus' "Pardon Me." Going to see them when they tour soon. I cannot wait. They are my favorite band, and I have seen them twice so far.
(Music) - Haste the Day's "Stitches." Great song. The band recently broke up, but Pressure the Hinges was an amazing CD.
(Dog/Cute/Funny) - I love corgis. Some day I will own one of my own!
Incubus is amazing. I cannot wait for their new cd! I hope to lose around 15 more pounds to get down to 160, so Im comfortable in the "normal weight" range. Right now Im overweight by 6 pounds, but it really doesn't look it Good luck with your losing weight too! My dad is the one who introduced me to games. We've been gaming my whole life. He prefers nascar games and sports games Thanks for the response
25-30 is definitely doable You just have to set your mind to it and keep at it. I struggle with keeping at things, but I can share with you some tips if you'd like. My friend told me about fitday.com, which is a really neat site that helps you track what you eat and when you exercise. I really like statistics, so I find the site very interesting Also, instead of thinking about needing to lose so much, try just getting into the habit or eating better (and not overeating, as is my problem... eek) and exercising a bit. Once you get used to that, then maybe you can try pushing yourself harder with the exercise and focus more on what you eat, instead of just how much. Think of it in steps and you'll get there
For me it's all consistency, like I'll have a great week where I'll eat perfectly, slip up once, and that'll throw me off for a while. Kinda in a slump right now, but I think I can pull myself out. I'm aiming to be down to there by next school year, so three months. Gonna be tough, but doable!

Thats how I am too. I have one day and then all of a sudden thats the new routine so I have to try again to get back into the struggle Good luck

I had the pleasure of playing with them a few times back in the day with my old band, really really really awesome guys. I started skateboarding again late last year cause I was working at a skateshop here in town - Rodney Mullen will always be my favorite skater of all time. I'm also really keen on Haslam as well. I remember watching the Almost Round 3 video and being completely blown away at his part, especially the backside blunt on the stationary board and the no comply front foot impossible off the bench. SO good. Nice to see another skater~
I enjoy both HtD's too. Lucky you got to play with them Chris Haslam is awesome, too. Almost Round 3 was an amazing skate vid!
