Apparently, blogs have to have a certain amount of content, or else they get closed and I get a warning. O.o And here I thought my blog was a personal thing! Well, this is coming straight from my phone, so it won't be my longest blog, but i'll try to make sure it has enough content to please the mods (also, someone should make it more clear that writing a short blog is an actual offense). Alright, on to coffee before I get another warning.
I am currently drinking a cinnamon latte from an amazing espresso machine to wake me up. Unfortunately, the only reason I need this latte is because of that damn machine! I drank so much coffee last night that I stayed up until hell'o'clock in the morning playing Fable 3! I haven't been keeping track of release dates for games, so it was just my good luck that I decided to go to the mall yesterday when the previous day was the date for the PC release of Fable 3. I played the crap out of Fable when I was younger and I was completely heartbroken when they didn't release Fable 2 for the PC! I'm probably going to go swords/rifle and avoid magic as much as possible. I avoided magic in the first game due to the aging it caused (yes, in the end, I'm still a girl and care how my avatar looks).
Though my hunter in Borderlands is a total badass (I've had amazing luck with legendary weapons, I've gotten 3 volcanoes!!), I think I'll probably take a break from that until I put more time into Fable and finish McGee's Alice (such a great game). I have also recently acquired an xbox from one of my mother's friends and I have been reunited with my PS2, so I will probably overdose on games before the summer ends!
Speaking of overdosing, I am so not used to this much caffine in my system!! While I drink tea occasionally at school, coming home to Seattle means being reunited with the coffee culture. Afterall, Starbucks started here (the original store is worth checking out just for the mermaid boobs). I got pretty caffine addicted last summer when I was working fifty hour weeks at my internship. Luckily, it didn't take too long to ween myself off when school started, but i'd rather not deal with it again! Also, as convienent and popular as coffee is, I really prefer tea! A cup of earl grey with sugar and cream beats any latte in my book! Maybe I'm just a weirdo...

Caffeine is some addictive shit.
I smoke 10-15 cigarettes a day but my physical addiction to caffeine is far more noticeable/bad

I just hate coffee, I can't stand it. Nothing about it seems really appealing to me, am I insane?

I hated coffee for a while too - then I started working and drinking it and now I love it.
What I did at first was put a ton of cream/sugar in it so that I didn't taste the bitterness, then gradually cut back. I haven't cut back completely, still like a little bit, but now I need my morning cup or I'm grumpy .

I can empathise because to be honest I find the "blog" section quite confusing since many people don't seem to treat it as a blog, but somewhere to post more trivial things. Also I'm not sure what the rating system is all about in this context. People just get bans and warnings for arbitrary things on TL, so I wouldn't take it personally.
I love coffee, but hate Starbucks. Their coffee is so bitter, and the ones that aren't are too sickly sweet. When I was in the USA I liked getting my coffee from Dunkin Dohnuts.
Have you beaten that legendary monster in Borderlands? It's the one thing I haven't got around to yet. It seems to be leveling with my character now so the mission is always "hard".

Don't put shit in your coffee. Drink it black baby.
e: also drink local support your community

At this points most of my friends just refer to me as an addict to coffee and Coffee Toss. Everyone has a vice and mine happens to be coffee and the caffeine it provides. I also enjoy most hot beverages such as Tea's and the like but coffee is my thing.
I understand it's not the best for me but at the very least I don't need to worry about drinking and driving and having to go outside to enjoy a cup of coffee.
On the Fable3 I was very glad I didn't play that game due to just how much of a let down it turned out to be in my own opinion.

As you've devoted a significant chunk of this blog to discussing the moderation of your last one, it behooves me to comment. Yes, a blog with 3 lines about how you can't blog at the moment is going to be closed; this isn't twitter. The fact that topics here need at least some content and a modicum of effort shouldn't be a surprise at this point. That said, I'm sorry about your laptop and coffee is generally a pretty gross beverage in my opinion, but I can stomach it with a generous helping of milk and sugar.

Don't worry brood, one day you will become a man and drink coffee without huge amounts of milk.
I drink coffee pure black, and I drink a lot of it in the evening. It regularly carries me to hell o'clock as well. I tend to end my evenings watching huk's stream waiting for the caffeine to wear off.

Are you referring to the vault monster? If so, I've beaten it on three different characters. I never found it to be very challenging, it just takes a lot of ammo. My legendary double repeater quite literally raped it's face on my hunter.

Fable 3 a let down? How so? I'm not expecting it to be an amazing game, but I do enjoy the base conceps of the game. I enjoy the constant light or dark choices abd thier effects.

Since we're about coffee, I love illy from Italy. It makes the smoothest coffee.
I make my own from ground. Just add sugar, milk, and drop of walnut oil.
I don't use water at all. Frothing is optional.

By all means, I understand forum posts and threads need topic and content. However, where I got confused is that a blog is considered a "topic here." I thought the blog section of TL was a personal thing with public viewing, I wasn't aware that a personal blog was considered a forum thread/topic and required to fulfill certain qualifications to be... Valid? I find it similar to a high school teacher grading a student's diary. Hence, my confusion and request for better clarification.

The coffee I had last night was pure black. This morning I was treated to the exact same coffee with steamed milk and cinnamon syrup added (it was supposed to be a treat for me and, addmittedly, I can't drink coffee on an empty stomach without cream). I knoww it isn't pure coffee, but it's still coffee.

It's an offense everyone. Low content OP = Warning. http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=222897
Welcome newcomer!
I'll never drink coffee, I don't see the appeal like beer and straight-up hard liquor. Another acquired taste that has no other meaning or use besides being socially conventional.
But that's me being cynical (and probably grumpy that I can't fit in like everyone else at a party or in the morning).

Its equivalency is the stimulant. Similar to any other drug except this one is legal and found in various products.
Why not just warm up a coke or eat a handful of sugar. Better yet, try tea, warm milk, yogurt or any other actual complete breakfast.
Its use is self-created by dependency and the idea of living without it, stack that with the constant mainstream view that if you don't drink coffee, you can't function in the morning, a delusion continually perpetuated by poor sitcoms and westernized modern culture. You did fine without it before, have some cereal, I hear Cookie Crisp is still delicious.
I'm mostly talking out of my ass, but most of this is rather true.

I think its funny that in the states some people think coffee is a "drug", or keeps saying its unhealthy. We in Finland drink like 4 cups a day on avarage ^_^ and 99.9% of the people have a coffee machine at home. Personally I wouldnt be able to manage without coffee. Also, coffee with just a tiny amount of milk + a cigarette = win
