Why do I love her? Well, not only is she damn sexy in appearance, but she is ridiculously fun to play. Actually, she's about all I play. I've tried out many other champions, but I always come home to my crazy cougar lady.
Perhaps it is because I mained a feral druid for so long in WoW, for more reasons than you may think! Certainly, Nidalee transforms into a large cat and back, but there is something about her that I excel at that makes her really fun: cool downs. Yes, cool downs. Nidalee does not use mana in cougar, nor does it take any mana to transform into. However, her most important ability is her heal. Since cougar is generally more advantageous to run around in, since you can pounce around and you can transform out and instantly use a move without having to wait, it is beneficial to be in cougar most of the time. However, if you're in cougar, you can't see your cooldowns on your human moves!
Feral dps is a highly cooldown and timer based class. In complex fights, you can't be checking the debuffs and cooldowns constantly, you have to "feel" them. I swear I have a set of little timers in my head that I can use to keep track of my abilities.While feral druids have to deal with keeping track of 4 different timers, Nidalee really only needs to know 3. Of course, having a cooldown reduction (i.e. blue buff) reduces these, too, but still is easy to track.
Alright, so probably not everyone would like a champion because you have to keep track of hidden cooldowns to excel with her, so why else is she fun?
Diversity: Melee, range, support. Nidalee has a wide range of abilities that keep her play diverse an interesting. Truthfully, it's like playing three characters shoved into one each game! Multiple Abilities: I get bored having only four moves to use. Sure, I can understand only four are really needed to make the characters complete and diverse, but it gets a little boring, especially if you have one with a long cooldown. Nidalee has 6 moves and her transformation, all of which have extremely short cooldowns in comparison to a lot of champions. You will always have a large set of options when you are on the field, it makes you feel like you have more freedom of choice!
Cougar: Her cougar form is pretty bad ass. Not only is it really fun playing a gigantic cat, but it is truly powerful when used correctly. Certainly, it may be easier to harass with ranged abilities most of the time, but when you hit level six, jump over a pack of minions and chomp your opponent for a quarter of their life, you feel satisfied.
Escape Artist: Not only does Nidalee's cougar form allow her to hop in, deal a huge melee hit and hop out, but it also makes her a total escape artist. Combined with her passive (which gives her a 15% increased run speed for 2 seconds when touching brush), Nidalee is basically uncatchable. Even with a great amount of CC on her, her pounce with it's ridiculously short cooldown not only gives her an invisible run speed increase, but it also allows her to jump over wall after wall! Nothing gets your blood pumping like the entire enemy team chasing you... but knowing you can probably outrun them? That makes it fun.

Use to play a lot of melee scion when I played pubs: Berserker Boots, Starks, 2x Phantom Dancers, then Inf Blade/Banshees Veil if the Game isnt over by then. Was really effective and fun to play when I played, due to super fast run speed, allowign you to farm and control big portions of the map.
Only problem was if the team caught on they could lock you down with disables. But if you farm up and arrive to a fight slightly late after the disables were already thrown out, you can chop down anyone who isnt a tank.

It isn't useful at all. I just chuckle at the fact they put a "Cougar Joke" into the game in the first place.

I played LoL for a while cause my brothers (still) are crazy about that game. Ended up playing Morgana for a while and she was quite fun. Tormented soil IMBA.
You could get custom launcher skins very easy before they put out the new launcher, now its a pain to do it. I bought nidalee some time back, but I kinda suck with her, il just stick with caitlyn thanks ^^

I got nid a while back and loved her, but got bored after like a week. She's definitely one of the tougher champs to play well. Easy to rack up the kills on her, but I always find that I end up getting a 1:1 kdr. :/

Eh, I don't think that really shows the best of how she can be! Jumping over walls, sprinting through every bush... Some hopping around the nexus with flash is nothing!
I remember when nidalee was released in Beta. EG.Machine would play Alistar and I would play Nidalee as duo bottom and at level 3 we would just wreck people whis ali's knockup and back combo and I would chuck a spear, lay a trap, and primal surge myself and just auto attack like mad and throw an ignite. Usually netted us a kill.
I still play Nidalee from time to time and have an entire runepage deticated to her. I own all her skins. My fav champion forever.

Basically if you time it just right - you'll teleport to wherever your target is teleporting. If your victim is basing, you'll follow it all the way to its fountain [and die] lol. You can pull off some pretty nifty catches on walljumpers though.

Primal surge is sooooo good at low levels. I love getting in a fight with someone at level 1-3 in a solo lane and have them think they have a chance at killing me, then popping a primal surge on myself, auto-attacking like a boss (I rune for arpen) and murdering them. MUAHAAHAHAH...

Buahaha, that's awesome and nuts! Must really be more of a stroke of luck than anything, though.

I'm new to LoL so I don't know 90% of the cast and am lost trying to fit them into the DotA archetypes. She/it seems very interesting, I'll definetly pick her/it up as soon as I get the points...gonna be my first lol.
