Sometimes things in life happen to you that make you realise how lucky you are to do what you do, be what you are, and love what you love.
I just recently turned 26, and when my girlfriend gave me her present for me, I was so stunned and proud that I wanted to share this with you guys:
As she respects and supports my pashion for this our all greatest hobby of all time, she crafted me a fluffy Hydralisk called Stanley. Let me introduce Stanley to you all:
Stanley sitting on the couch of my flat share.
Stanley is about 100cm tall. He is made of cushion, towels, socks and wire basically. Sadly the face was a bit too hard to make, so he only does the happy face, which is a bit weird for a Hydralisk, but either way, I already love this guy.
Gaming in his blood
As you can see, he shares passion for gaming in his spare time, when all the spitting baseball bat size needles through heads of Terran Marines is done.
What german Zergs do when they are done with their daily bloodshed.
Overall, we already had a great time together, enjoyed talking about Starcraft in general, and how badly he needs a speed upgrade again as nowadays walking over slime all the time seriously sucks. I will make sure Stanley will make it to every major Starcraft event in my parameter and I'll get him signed by as many StarCraft legends as possible without breaking him, someday this cute guy will cuddle my children for sure.
Overall, I was caught totally off guard when she showed this to me, I never expected something like this (and I myself would not be able at all to ever craft something comparable, mathematician, you know) and I am so thankful to know that the most important person in my life supports what I love, and wish all of you that the same happens to you guys.

that last picture is pretty amazing. you got yourself a good catch, awesome stuff.
If i was manifesto i would say spotlighted.
That is so cool. Stanley is a boss.
That's a sloth with no hind legs
Ahahah the frog face makes him a million times better. I want my hydralisks to look like that.
If hydra's were that awesome looking in-game, it would make up for any and all possibly existing deficiencies.
You taped the bottle and game controller to him, yes? I can tell because I do it in pics all the time :3. Not that I did it in past years for the special day.... :p. Also, sweet hydra but it needs one more thing. Where's that sweet tongue?!?!?
so THAT'S what a hydralisk making a happy face looks like :O

Not taped, just adjusted a bit, could hold by himself
Now that you mention it, a tongue is somehow missing, yeah

Oh man, I envy you Hopefully Stanley will help with the coaching. Tell your girlfriend that she's awesome. Deserves a TL-spotlight ^^

Let's see how long he will last, though its prepared for a longer stay looking a bit like a mummy Awesome work nonetheless, i ll pay you a visit to get a personal meeting with Stanley! In the end our all imaginary friend of our childhood became reality. Spotligt required!
