EPTAnyhow, back to the topic. I'm a Mid-Platinum Zerg, but despite beeing Zerg my favorite player is Liquid'Jinro.
Despite people saying that Zerg is the hardest race and blah blah, in my opinion Zerg has the easiest macro of the game.
There, I said it. You can say whatever you want, but I don't believe in it. First off, to stabilish your macro you need exactly 48 drones, which is achieved in a matter of seconds. Secondly, you don't even need to look to your base to build supply. Third, larva inject is not hard. You just change your town camera hotkey to space, and you can cycle through hatcheries to check for larva, and use a single hotkey for queens to keep injecting, and it is pretty freaking easy.
Terran is easy to macro off one base, sure. It is o.k. to macro off two bases. Try macroing 3+ bases effectively, it is HARD.
However, my playstyle is very different from most Ts out there: I'm NOT agressive.
What I need help with is tips to learn terran macro(ie. good macro BOs), while maintaining MECH style play. And I do mean hellion drops, mass siege tanks and thors, with PFs as space control. I'm watching CatZ vs TLO atm, and I have to say that TLO's style is pretty much what I want to do.
Also, do anyone have some sort of chart to explain how much a base can support? IE. "one base can support 2 factories making siege tanks and one factory making hellions" or "one base supports one thor per minute" or stuff like that.
Allright, and finishing, my game plans - give your opinion about them:
TvZ: fake bunker into expansion -> blue flame hellions(drop if possible) -> mass mech into third base -> BCs very late in the game, because they are actually very good(esp. with buff incoming).
TvT: iEchoic's TvT style
TvP: Mech with PFs and Turrets
I just want some ideas from people to make me learn this mech style T.
Just a disclaimer, as a Zerg player the "fake bunker into expansion" is IMO an extremly effective faint pressure, and I could even open with 2 rax to make zergs overreact. After that, I'd switch into massive blue flame hellions for more and more harassment - including drops if possible.
After that, I'd rely on my scan/scouting info to chose between more thors or more tanks depending on mutas or roaches, and rely on building armor and turret range upgrades, together with armory upgrades. Upgraded Thors are nothing to laugh about.
Ghosts would be included in any MU depending on what I see - infestors, fenixes, or even banshees or ravens - but I also need some help on learning timings for these.
