mrchhre - I'm sorry. I know that build was really abusive and (for lack of a better word) gay. I don't hold any bad feelings against you for not saying GG. I know I wouldn't have either. I hope you can forgive me.

Randoms - I'm sorry for furthering the stereotype that all randoms cheese. I don't normally and I fully realize that it only takes every random doing it only once for other people to get it into their mind's that we all cheese.

Zergs - I'm sorry. Period. I love you guys as a race. I was even planning to switch from random to zerg after retail but you guys feel so weak. After the roach buff I feel a lot better playing zerg, and I think it's my best race. I'm sorry I inadvertently added to our rage as a whole. I don't even know how I would have stopped the build I did. I'm sure it could have been played out, but he would have been far far behind anyways.

Anyways in summary I guess I feels really sorry for cheesing in a 1v1 ladder game. I never (well, almost never) do it and only did it this time because I was sick and tired of being cheesed by other people. I feel really bad about it like I was playing only to ruin the enjoyment of the game for somebody else or only for the ladder points rather then trying to improve.

Personally, cheesing isn't something that you need to apologize about. Since you rarely cheese, its not really a big deal (I rarely cheese too in BW, but when I do, I don't regret it at all).
Anyways, adding a bit of cheese in your game play (not too much though) isn't going to make you a mondo jerk or anything; it just means that you decide not to play standard all the time.

Practicing cheese is important too. In a tournament bo5 you generally don't want to just play standard every game; you have to keep your opponent on his toes and not allow him to exploit your play by cutting corners.

Also, coming up with well thought out cheese and seeing it work against good players on the ladder is quite satisfying

dogabutila, as a Zerg player, I forgive you. We love you too, even if you do play Terran and Protoss in addition to Zerg. Whatever you added to the misguided rage was probably little in comparison to the ocean of tasty tears that already existed. Cheesing is a part of gameplay, as much as we hate to admit it, and if you found a way to do it as Z, well good on you. It's nice to deal back a bit of what you get, and sometimes we all feel like cheesing, not every game has to be 5 base macro.

So on behalf of all Zergs, whatever it means to you, we accept your apology. Now spread your creep and swarm!

Be proud of your cheese. Think of it as helping them so they don't lose to that same dumb build come tournament time.

I felt bad about protossing some poor terran once.
Gas steal -> 10/15 gate -> mine out backdoor on HBR
Worked great back in the day, cause terran would bunker expand in response to gas steal and get busted by the 10/15.

Oh, man, I used to offrace toss on Desti just because there were so many places to proxy gateways.
