Awesome! I will definitely be tuning in to this
|
naugrim is a cool fella, if i have time i'll watch
|
I actually preferred wheats PoV since scoots just follows a player camera anyway, but I guess thats a minority opinion at this point. Gonna tune in!

Absolutely not, blue`. We try to take in all constructive criticism. Scoots is new to obs'ing SC2, so we're working on ways to improve the way we handle the obs. We've already had talks on how we can do things better. ^_^ Thanks.

Actually I think we're going to add an extra OBS to the games tonight who's purpose is to OBS just as if you were watching a streaming game. It's pretty tough to run production and have to be OBS at the same time so we plan on improving it! :D

I have to say that part of the appeal was watching Wheats POV. His general cluelessness made me lol many times. (remember he had not set his rally point of his hatch for 5 minutes straight?kept complaining about retarded drones, selecting hatch and not noticing that there was no rally point.)
I do feel the set up now can be great though, if wheat is failing in his base we can sometimes switch over to other POVs to watch some action or failings of other people like wack. Have to say that keeping it to the kings of tin POVs seems like a good idea though, i like being suprised as wheat and wacksteven go apeshit over ten random VRs someone secretly massed.
Another point i found was that the matchmaking gave them players of there skill level generally, meaning we would see a nice number of entertaining games, last time i felt the kings were outclassed a little too much. watching low-level games is fun, but not so much when it is just a rofl-stomp. Try to select some kings of your own if you are going to play customs imo.
Anyway keep it up i love the show.

I don't know where would be best to offer my services, but I'd be happy to run Obs for you, if need be.

No back handed compliments in this reply.
Anyway, your 3rd paragraph doesn't make much sense? Are you saying that the customs offered more or less skill? In the last KoT we had about the same W/L ratio as all the other shows so that is why it doesn't make any sense to me.
|
Love the KoT, djWheat. I don't always get to tune in, but I've loved the eps I have seen.
I do enjoy the games from Wheat's POV, but I think some extra variety can't be bad. Obviously everyone wants to see the pro beat people down in hilarious manner or save the team's butt, or what have you.
Give it a go and if the VODs aren't as fun I suppose it can't be any trouble to use less production right? lol.

In terms of hilarious maps, you should get in touch with ProdiG and/or use his Labyrinth of Wonders map. That map really... takes it to the limit.

Having someone observe who isn't streaming kinda sucks, you don't see what they select
|
The BGH games were hilarious!

First time I have watched this and it was pretty awesome.
Had a good time even though I didn't join in on assaulting my liver.

i preferred the way you guys played with just wheats pov. it had a more casual feeling which made the show so funny and entertaing for me
