Sorry for the terribly played match i showed you yesterday but i only played that one match and i really felt like i should upload at least something :/
I checked the comments this morning and i gotta say wow... Im not as bad as i was in yesterdays game but i was not this good before i read the comments. Having "5s*something*" in mind really helped get my "average unspent resources" down by a good 2-300 or so and Vansetsus post gave me the chills! It was such a long post full of my flaws and tips and it just got me so pumped up like "alriiiiight, lets imp-fkin-rove!" and went onto BNet and played my ass off! :D
Thank you Vansetsu and undercover lover for the tips and feedback and even though im still a noob, probably not even worthy my spot in silver yet, i think you will notice improvement :D
On topic!
I got into THIS match and it really made my brain stop.
I still dont wanna ladder since i feel that even if i get crushed by diamond players in the custom games, i can still practice my macro at least. Even though i got pitted against a platinum player, in my eyes (unexperienced as they might be) i felt it was still pretty even. My macro was way better than last game (as i said, i was a little shaky that time) but I made a few mistakes here and there, for example sending my hydras in under the banshees way too early since i thought the overseer was way faster than it actually was, failing to spread creep and biggest mistake of all... attacking. Now ive been wondering about that attack for some time now and there is one really simple thing i cant figure out:
Why did my army die?!
I realize i failed, sending in the hydras first and then the lings. I remembered watching a game where Day9 said it was super important to send ultralisks in first and then zerglings since lings are primarily damage dealers opposed to some form of tanks for other units. This made me send hydras first and then i checked their relative dps and saw (NOT to my surprise) that hydras dealt more damage. But even as i did this and even as i did not have the range upgrade and his army was 1/1 as opposed to my 0/0 he lost nothing!!! Is it really so that those things i just pointed out made that huge of a difference so that he killed an almost equal food army with no casualties? It just feels wrong to me

Three other questions i have about this match are:
- Was there any other way to know he was going banshee than to suicide an overlord and see tech lab starports?
- I know some people say hydras shouldnt be used off of creep and as i am still bad at remembering to spread creep, can i still use them or should i try to avoid them?
- I realized later than my drone count was a little low. On a scale of 1-10, how bad was it?
(higher number meaning less bad)
I am unsure as of where and how i should upload the replay packs talked about in the comments of the first post so thats why theres only one game today as well.
I guess thats all really. I promise ill train more! :D
Untill next time
