So after selling off all of my guitars except for my Ibanez Neck-through RG with EMGs (81/85), I've decided to treat myself to another guitar, and decided to go for Schecter guitars. I also had ESP/LTD in mind however, they did not offer what Schecter did for the same price.
I was wondering what sorts of experience people here have had with Schecter guitars (if any at all), or perhaps good or bad things they have heard about them.
Me personally have only heard good things, I am currently looking to buy a Hellraiser C-1 FR, which has EMG 81TW/89 (coil taps), OFR, mahogany body with a quilted maple top, 3-piece mahogany set-neck and abalone binding and inlays (some don't like it, I don't really care tbh).
The last blog about Ibanez guitars was a success, let's see how well this one does!

I have an old Schecter C-1 Blackjack, got it for around 600, and I use it as my main guitar. Can't say I know too much about EMGs, my guitar has Seymour Duncans, but I hear good things about them.
I've had good experiences with my Schecter, and in general, they seem to be really well priced intermediate-ish guitars. Definitely prefer the Schecters I've tried to the ESPs I've tried, personally. Seem more solidly built, and I love the mahogany body.
Good luck on your new guitar.

I own a Schecter C-4 bass and I don't regret it, I can't speak for guitars but i think they are the best basses at a midrange price (500ish)

I assume you have a FR on your ibanez but if you don't I would consider not getting a FR they're just a pain in the ass. Especially if you're like me and play a wide range of tunings

My Ibanez is a fixed bridge, so I think I have some flexibility with that which was why I was willing to get one with a FR
