These would make a ton of money even if they took the caffeine out. People buy them because of their price, not because of the caffeine.

Taking the caffeine/guarana out of it sorta kills the fun of how f'ing drunk you can get though.
They'll still make money but I'll bet it'll be a lot less than what they sold before they decided to remove the stuff.

Let me explain this to people.
The true purpose and best use of Four Loko is to drink 1 (one) before going out so you can already be reasonably (but not retardedly) drunk, and energetic so you can party.
It saves you money at the bar for one. Also no social awkwardness while you're getting drunk since you already are! The issue is people who drink two or three or four and keep doing it all night, as with ANY ALCOHOLIC DRINK.
They do taste horrible. But it's a convenient combination of things and the feeling is great between stimulants and alcohol.
Edit: It's equivalent to around 6 light beers or 4 manly 12oz. beers, and sources say anywhere from 1 to three cups of coffee.

damn these things were terrible tasting and terrible for you and yet they were so popular. i'm not gonna lie, I did kind of liked the little fad before it got banned in Michigan. It was just goofy to see them everyone, like at parties or even on the street cause they looked so much like Arizona ice teas

these got banned in washington recently also. I always was a beer drinker and think these things are nasty but i don't agree with govenment telling us what we can and can't drink. Some kids at my school stocked the fuck up though.
