Sorry for not blogging yesterday, I sort of got caught up with my practicing. I am practicing for my matches in the Alienware Killer Launch Detected tournament.

Being a Zerg player, one of the seemingly few in Diamond on the North American ladder, I feel a lot of pressure to win a few matches and advance past the prelims. My first opponent is a similarly ranked Diamond player, however he is Terran.

I do feel comfortable though in my prelim matches, provided my game keeps advancing as rapidly as it was the past few days after my gigantic slump. My other opponent for my first weeks match hasn’t even responded though, so I will most likely get a FF win from him.

The only problem with practicing solely on the ladder is I never play Terran for some reason. I play about 50% Zerg mirrors which have gotten to the point where I almost quit when I get matched Vs. that. Or the other 50% is protoss who just do a timing attack against me, which I am getting better at, but am unable to beat on Scrap Station for some reason. As soon as the colossus comes out he will get 2, and then send his army over and I don’t have enough zerglings, they get eaten up, and my mutas get eaten up by stalkers since I don’t have enough. I guess I need to stop doing the same BAD strat every time, and maybe transition into roaches as I always win when I do that : P

Beyond practicing for that tournament I have been setting up my ustream and trying to get set for tomorrows maiden commentary session. I still have some issues with ustream, but I should have it situated for tomorrow : ) I wont be advertising this weekends casts, etc, as my partner and I are mostly just practicing and recording to send VODs to some of our friends for advice and critique. However, if I feel it went well enough I will post them in my blog for you guys : )

The past two days haven’t really been that exciting, I’ve been practicing a lot, watched some TV for the first time in over a week (go go Criminal Minds) and trying to finish my MSI GX720 Review, write an article and coordinate some Starcraft II related interviews.

Anyway, I really need to go practice some more and get the replays for tomorrows cast ( Maka ) and then do a ton of work on my to-do list here:
