I've just purchased a second copy of SC2, and I'm trying to figure out how to connect to the EU servers. I've been told you don't need to install 2 seperate copies of the game, and that you can simply switch a few files around.
I've tried downloading a program called "Gateway Switcher" (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=122425) but I get a crash every time I use it.
Is there any other programs that allow you to switch realms without constantly moving files and renaming them?
If anyone has some experience with this, I would appreciate some help.
Thanks!

I think most people have a copy of SC2 installed for each separate region; i.e. 2 or more SC2 directories and executables.

I know you could switch base files around in Beta. I just kept it in a separate folder and moved the files around when I was laddering on Asia. I'm not sure if that still works though.

I used this in beta, worked perfectly, just select the gateway you want to connect to and it will swap the files around for you automatically and launch the correct client. I only have a EU account on live so i can't say if it still works, but you should give it a try.

if anyone finds out how to play on other regions that would be great, i'd like to go ladder on asia some XD

Yeah I linked that in the OP. Doesn't work anymore, gives you a corrupt game file every time you try to switch.

I just have two installations of SC2.. Sorry I'm not much use here. Just put your key in under the EU region and download the second client for now (if you didn't know; you may already know this)
