How bad i was at BW
+ Show Spoiler +So i was pretty bad at BW, didn't play a whole lot. Never got past D rank, best MU was PvP okay enough to take games from C- players here and there and didn't really die until mid mid-late game against C players  . My PvT and PvZ were pretty atrocious. I never really cared to strictly memorized BOs, just openings, personally i did just fine that way aside from the fact that i played at like 90 apm at most, where i just lost games because i couldn't keep up with what i tried to do.
With that out of the side, i was pretty disappointed with the placement matches i played a couple of days ago. I went 5-0, i was surprised at how easy it was though. 2 out of the 5 tried to cheese me, which wasn't too bad i suppose. A Protoss tried cannon rushing me in a terrible terrible spot (no pun intended) and the other was a T that tried to proxy rax me in a decent spot actually; i felt like Flash with his map hacks when i found it  . 2 were okay but i just outmacro'd them, nothing special.
The 3rd game i was a little scared, got surprised with a MM push and i had just gotten out 2 sentries so i had no FF. It was pretty weak though, i figured he had gambled on that i had expanded and he proceeded to expo as he was pushing. After i cleaned that up my 3rd void ray was out and there was no need to hide them anymore, i proceeded to 4zzzz 1a (sounds lame with SC2 hotkeys) and sniped his CC with my void rays.
Today i just finished playing 3 games (1 of which i d/c'd in ), 1 won and lost 1. They were nothing out of the ordinary and this blog is already long enough as it is so maybe ill mention them some other time.

Yep! like has been said many times, playing on iccup= freeride to diamond! it should change in time... :D people have gotten alot better since start, even in bronze.

yeh logging on to ICCUP = diamond, so you should be like medium-high diamond and have better game sense than most people you play against in no time.

I suppose it's what you're looking for. I, personally, am looking to actually play good games of Starcraft. I'd rather play a long 45 minute game and lose than beat a cheese in 5 minutes.

Higher level players cheese less dont they? if im getting free wins and get higher to where im so supposed to end at quicker, shouldn't i find people to play longer games against?

The sad fact is, the higher up you go, the better people are at cheese. No matter where you go, there will always be a hefty sum of people who got there by only knowing how to cheese. The difference is, in Silver, they can't cheese properly. In platinum and diamond, they really know how to do their All-In-Bullshit. (And nothing else)

Obviously higher players cheese better, i was just commenting on the frequency of it.

I'm gonna have to say the percentage of cheese decrease is maybe ten to twenty percent. Not really enough to be significant.
Either that, or I'm just extremely unlucky.
