In just 7 minute and 33 seconds, you, too, can hatch ultralisks to your hearts content! Just follow this simple build order and I'll teach you how to dominate every novice-league player or very easy computer in the world!

STOP!!!
At this point, you need to save some cash! If you go spending all those valuable minerals, you'll slow down your tech!
In the meantime, spam your APM like crazy, though you should have been doing this already! You need to instill fear in to your opponent if they ever watch the replay.
By the time your lair finishes, you should have 250/100 or above! If you had a perfect drone spread, you might be able to get up to 16 drones before stopping, but don't risk it! These precious few seconds will delay your ultralisks!
Immediately after lair, spend your 250/100 on a Queen and a Infestation pit. They take the same amount of time to build, so if you build them at the exact same moment, you can squeeze that queen out without delaying your tech!

STOP!!! A hive costs lots of money, you need to save up!
18hive -- fuck yes.
Get that drone count up to 26, two extra overlords, and put another hatchery down at your expo and stop!!! You'll need this money for your first two ultralisks! By the time your hive finishes, you should have 600/400 and 26/42 food, and ready to start pumping! I'd suggest upgrading your ultra tech with your next 150 gas, and get ready to saturate that expo! That is, if your opponent doesn't GG first!

I use this build because I am stupid and its funny to me for some reason. Occasionally my 2v2 partner will rush mothership, and its funny as hell to have a cloaked ultralisk rush.
You will lose 95% of games you try this on, 50% if they are placement matches.
I also make this build because, frankly, it saddens me that it takes 7 minutes and 33 seconds (+70 for them to hatch) to get an ultralisk out with 10gas10pool, and absolutely no lost time (aside from a second or two) on tech progression. Granted, if you're banking on winning with 2 ultralisks at 8:43, you are an idiot, but they take soooooo long to tech to
That isnt a cry of imbalance, but rather just something that makes me cry a little inside. Ultralisks are fine as far as I'm concerned.
. Gonna try this next time I get zerg in FFA while playing random. This just sounds like too much fun.
