I felt like this video connected with me on a personal level. Not because I'm Chinese and also a pianist, but because I'm inspired by this man's determination to live his life to the fullest even with such a disability.
Piano without hands. I would have never thought such a thing possible. Yet this man started lessons at the age of 19 (already a late age to begin learning piano) and showed that he can play beautiful songs that, while not terribly difficult, demonstrate that he has the capacity to be a true pianist.
Sometimes I feel like I'm really limited. I'm not smart enough to get the best marks in school. I might have long losing streaks in SC and ragequit afterwards. I might get rejected by a girl and let it get to me. All of these point to the heavy conclusion that I'm a failure.
But then I remind myself that there are things that only I can do. Things that I excel at, that I'm not so bad after all.
Seeing people like this man inspire me to be more. To try harder in school, to meet more people, to live life to the fullest. And of course, to pwn more noobs in SC.
If life is a game, will you play to win? Or will you lose before even trying?
Hiii TL, just wanted to share, hope it makes you think a bit and enjoy life more
