In the game you would choose between playing a tank, a hover or a jeep. You play either offline versus AI controlled opponents or multiplayer. You could use different weapons lite machine gun, rockets, homing missiles, railgun, etc... The game modes were deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, you know the usual.  The game is probably around ten years old. Does anyone know the name of the game? Thanks // ixuz  | ||

Mobygames Game Browser is really good for this kinda thing. just narrow down the search filters untill you get a reasonable list then go through it.. dunno the game  | ||

There was a beavus and butthead game, some jungle game, some space shooting game... Anyways. There was a 2D game demo where you drove little vehicles and tried to kill others from a top down viewpoint. You had mines and shit, I think. I think the objective was to capture the enemies flag and bring it to your base, maybe. I can't remember the name but I think it might be the same game. AH if only I could remember what that disc was called. Now I am also on a quest to find this game! I'll keep you updated if I find anything. Edit: Hahaha, never mind I just looked at some Return Fire gameplay and that was the game I was talking about. Hehehe, how embarrassing. Anyways this game owned I'm gonna download it. | ||

This seems somewhat close, but I've got no idea if it's anything like what you're looking for, not having played it myself. Robosport the game is a lot of fun in multiplayer, where up to 4 players compete in various modes (e.g. "capture the flag") using robots. A random review on another site says: The eight increasingly destructive and longer-ranged RoboSport weapons systems include rifle, burst, auto, grenade, missile, zap (a high-energy, low-frequency burst), time bomb, and kamikaze.
