Shouldn't replied with "I could punch in the face right now, purely because I can, and I know I will regret not doing so."

But yeah, I haven't had to pay anything in terms of a ticket for at LEAST a month. And even then you can set up a pay plan.. if you can scrounge together 50$ a month you don't need to borrow. yeah when he said because I can I was so bewildered, especially from a cop, even if he said something like I wasn't exactly sure if you had front plates or not I probably wouldn't have thought much about it. I don't know if he thought I was being condescending or something which at that point I didn't have much of an attitude and wasn't being so I was just really curious because I thought it was weird, after that I just said fuck you in my head and didn't really give a flying mutalisk (although having them handy to snipe his ass woulda been preferred) alright ill look into the payment plan too if I didn't buy new shoes and the new/old pokemon I wouldn't be in this predicament but I don't have future-sight like Noctowl :<

Yeah my gf's father told me they do that on purpose. Ive also had cops on the highway do that too me, They've gotten on the highway on the on ramp around the same time ive passed them then hung back for a bit till im pretty much out of distance then shoot forward 80+ and get into the lane behind me like they are going to pull me over all without their lights on then get off the next exit, It was so baffling for me the first time I was like " Fucking great im getting pulled over" then he just chilled behind me and got off the exit I then proceeded to WTF seems so unnecessary and obviously gay I got pulled over one time because a undercover was riding my ass so hard to where I couldn't see more than half of my hood so I sped up about 10 over got into the other lane went back down to 60 and he pulled behind me and pulled me over, I learned my lesson after that I fought that one and got it appealed tho. Just shows how gay they are tho.

you never know who you're going to get when you get pulled over. think of it as playing zelda when you kick open a treasure chest and you hear the "dun dun dun duuun!" or Christmas, whichever you like. i've probably been pulled over 15x(i blame my vehicle), and only a few of those experiences were very bad, half of them were purely professional, and about 1/3-1/2 were as good as you could possible expect for being pulled over. some of the cops were quite nice. just remember, it pays to be respectful. and it's also a good habit to have.

I am in general very respectful and was respectful until his "Because I can" remark but I too blame my vehicle for alot of the cop going ons <.>

Don't say one word to a cop. As for the legal process, I have been doing some reading in that area, but not enough to give you any help, but only enough to say ask for Common Law court, and not the de-facto Admiralty Court that gives all the power to the judge. The Judge in actuality, has no power. So research that if you want.

Imo best reaction is to just sound arrogant as fuck, since the reason they pulled u over is to try to piss you off(in this kind of case), just look at the ticket and chuckle a bit and be like "oh its only x$? haha okay...".

The one guy could have not given me a ticket, the second could have ignored me going a little slow, the third could have not picked me up for matching a vague description, but none of that shit pissed me off. I'm fine with how they all went.

Good luck getting the ticket removed but you really have no right to complain about the cop's attitude after you were just as bad. After being so disrespectful to a cop that pulled him over he's lucky all he got that night was an arrogant response... and the OP probably doesn't realize it.

I read through this thread and you really need to cut back on the 'this is gay that is gay' shit lol Good luck getting the ticket removed but you really have no right to complain about the cop's attitude after you were just as bad. After being so disrespectful to a cop that pulled him over he's lucky all he got that night was an arrogant response... and the OP probably doesn't realize it. well considering I was completely respectful to the cop until he told me "because I can" Your comment is extremely irrelevant, I actually think its better to be respectful to them so as to not piss them off or maybe they will be nice to you. and under the circumstances it was hard to not be pissed off afterward which could be why I did a "this is gay that is gay" "shit" in the OP (in actuality if you don't count these two that I am using to prove a point you've used it half as much as I have in that post). How about I actually re-summarize it for you so don't completely misinterpret it again -I got on the off ramp into my town where I live after work -A cop in the opposite lane flipped a U-turn in using the on ramp to the freeway and sped up a bit to be close behind me -The cop followed me for a good 8-10 minutes -The Cop turns on his lights about 45 seconds away from my house -He asks for my insurance/registration/proof of insurance in which I had ready for compliance -He tells me that its illegal to have my front license plate on the dashboard and needs to be mounted -He goes and finishes paper work taking a long time during I have to pee greatly -He comes back gives me my ticket and I asked him respectfully Why he waited so long to pull me over and he says "Because I Can" -I tilt and rage and say you must be fucking bored / you probably saw a sports car and just wanted to issue a fucking ticket -He then gives me a dirty look and says "your free to go" all the while the manner he spoke to me was very demeaning as if I was the scum of the earth just for not having my front license plate mounted or just because im young. Could he have given me a warning and documented it? of course he could considering it was the first time this has happened to me and when I bought the car the front plate was already like that, regardless of that fact considering he could have never known it was bought like that he still could given me a warning for something so minor. So please next time don't jump to unfounded assumptions about my attitude towards the cop, and again in the title I say its a Rage / Whine blog its easy to surmise that while I wrote this I wasn't exactly content. EDIT: These are the exact words I said when I asked about why he waited so long "Excuse me sir, I am curious. Why did you wait so long to pull me over?" I wasn't being condescending I was being formal and respectful. I was genuinely curious and I did state in the OP that he could have thought I was being condescending, regardless, his response was so childish and unprofessional that I tilted and stopped giving a fuck and I think that in my place many others would too.

I've only had a few experiences with the police, and one of them was far from good.

Poor word choice. I think he's a jerk for doing what he did. I'm glad the cops here only go after the obvious drunk drivers. You can get away with a lot where I live.

I've only had a few experiences with the police, and one of them was far from good. I did rehearse it in my head a bit because I was annoyed at getting a ticket for something so minor and because I knew I couldn't afford it also rehearsing probably isn't the correct word. As he was taking his time I was saying in my head how stupid it was saying he probably was just doing it because I drive a sports car and how he must really be bored to wait so fucking long to pull me over because I was frustrated, I was completely respectful to him to his face until he said because I can before then I really had no reason to actually say or be disrespectful to him because it was technically against the law regardless of how stupid it is considering many states only require a back license plate.
