This game was pretty odd. I had a feeling about doing a 14hatch build against another Zerg on a really small map. I knew it was super risky. As I got closer to 14 food I decided to switch it into a 14pool. My opponent did a 14hatch and I knew I was behind. For some reason I didn't want him to see that I was going to throw down an expansion and I ended up wasting some time failingly trying to avoid it being spotted. I knew he was going to come quick so I had to try to harass him away from my expansion until I could have more units out. When I finally was safe I felt like I was at a huge economical and tech disadvantage because I was playing poorly. So I decided I would just attack soon because I figured his next few hundred minerals were going into econ and plus I had a tech advantage with roaches. It looked as if he was waiting to do a run by with his zerglings if I ran out, but I figured I didn't have good odds in a late game at this point so I went for it. I almost gave up mid fight but then I took another look and realized that I was about to checkmate.
Edit: for those who can't watch. He did a zergling run by and I just went ahead with my attack. I had only had 3 roaches beating on his zerglings. He was clearly going to destroy my base faster than my roaches would get his. So I took 3 drones from my expansion and ran them away and used my last gold to make 2 extractors. They started just before my last building died and my roaches were able to kill off the remaining zerglings. I finished his last 4 buildings for a destroy victory =].
