I reside within Pennsylvania and we are in the middle of a major snow storm. My area has seen probably a foot and a half of snow easily. By the end of the storm we're predicted to have 18" to 24" of snow right now. The storm is also going to continue until sometime in the afternoon, around 4pm. It is currently 9:44 am as I am typing this.
I'll have to get some pictures and post them somewhere and add them to this blog later. It is pretty insane. The snow is very heavy and wet so the trees and plans are bowing very badly. It's quite a pretty sight through my back yard so I'll have to post some pictures up at some point.
To even begin shovelling this morning I had to trudge through the back snow to get to my shovel in the garage and then shovel my way back to the house. I am also having to shovel down my front steps (currently taking a break) because I am unable to walk around my house due to all the snow.
I've heard DC and areas to the south and east are getting even more snow and will be in the storm longer. This snow is setting records in my area for snowfall and I wouldn't be surprised it it was setting records elsewhere as well. Guess I get a day off work today and get to watch the TSL broadcast live!
I hope everyone else caught in this storm is staying safe and with power (over 80,000 people in my area at least do not have power).

What's ridiculous is the title of this blog...

Damn 2 feet of snow... kinda scary.
And yeah... the title makes me cringe a bit

we missed the brunt of it in nyc but just barely only 2-4 inches expected here.

Nice... that's one of the words that I always spell incorrectly without fail.

I'm in Boston but we're getting nothing right now although it snowed quite a bit earlier.

I live in Philly and yeah, it's pretty ridiculous out. The first thing I noticed when I woke up was how quiet it is…the snow absorbs noise and keeps people/cars off the streets. I need to go out later to run some errands, should be cool to walk around the city while it's deserted like this.

i kno how u feel man. i live in bristol (outskirts of philly) its so far a foot and a few inches and still goin
i gotta shovel this all by myself soon or later since my dad is in his work shoveling snow too

I live in Alexandria, Virginia and it's crazy here. We're getting 3 feet of snow and it will be snowing till about 10pm.

Wish it had hit here so that I could watch TSL instead of having to leave for work just an hour before it starts. ;_;

I just looked outside my window and my car is camouflaged along with the other cars on my street. I can just barely see some tire, but I'm sure that'll be completely nija-fied as it is still snowing.

PS: I'm probably going to build a snow man once I become less lazy.

Go Pittsburgh! That's where I am located too. I just shot some pictures with my phone. I'm going to get them uploaded and I'll edit the original post soon with them.
