Well my best time which is lower than that is with the Abyssus (few days ago) I can do it with about any mouse, I more posted it as a testament to the fact that this article is coming from someone who has spent a lot of time perfecting everything about his UI.

It's a bit smaller, also the ramped corners rather than rounded makes fitting your hand around it a bit easier.
Smaller than the Salmosa? I love small mice :D and I'm using Salmosa right now. I think I have the Asian or Chinese version or w/e that's slightly smaller than the original?
How long have you had it for? My one complaint right now with Razer stuff is I've owned 2 mice and tried 3 and all of them had durability problems (Had problems after 6-12 months, whereas my MX300 lasted 10 years). Mind if I bump this again in a month or two? Will you still be using it then?
Apparently they are quite similar in size but the Abyssus does fit better I'm sure of that.
Actually before I got this I was using the asian Salmosa as well for over a year, I'm 99% sure I'll be using this for a long time.
It was an adaptation going from the small salmosa to this as far as size goes but the prediction and button tension on the Salmosa means I am no longer considering it and I am now used to the size of this mouse.
For those of you playing the post 1940s trolling game at the beginning of Inherit the Wind (the movie about the Scopes Monkey Trial) they are singing Give Me That Old Time Religion.
I used to think that the mouse didn't really matter as long as it wasn't really bad. Then I got a LMO and I felt noticeably improved. I haven't tried any expensive gaming mice, but now that I've come around in terms of gaming equipment I could see them being better.
Ain't no way a gaming keyboard is worth a damn though.
Gaming mice are amazing for FPS's, its crazy how much more accurate you are. However, its a waste for sc. What is the point of having a 3500 dpi mouse when SC only runs at 640x480?

Well, like I said, I haven't used any expensive mice, but I imagine that the strengths are more in ergonomics. The textures, hand positioning, button feel, etc really translate into comfort an results in game.
well, i got this mouse. it is twice as big as the salmosa (not twice as small as i was told). control is nice. it is kinda like the salmosa-krait hybrid.

Logitech MX300 was my favorite mouse of ALL time. After the MX300 got worn out, I went to the Logitech G3 simply due to the fact that they had the same casing with better specs. When My G3 got worn out, mice with that casing were no longer in production and I was shit out of luck so I switched to the salmosa about a year ago.
Seeing this mouse compared to the MX300 makes me want to look into quite heavily.
According to the specs on razerzone, the Salmosa and Abyssus are the same size save the Abyssus being 3mm taller.
I had Salmosa before, and IMHO Abyssus it is better mouse. in comparison with salmosa:
- same (good) cord - same (nice) glides - also they are black (don't know about wear yet) - Better sensor - it feels better , has No Precision :D , no more "drift" (it was annoying in Osu! when playing without lifting hand from mousepad) - slightly better grip (for my small hand anyways) - better (softer) buttons (smaller force to push, no squeaking) - it has min sensitivity of 450 DPI - a little bit less than LMO's DPI (min800DPI for salmosa) quite nice for SC - max sens is 3500 wich looks better better than Kinzu's 3500 (i use desktop res of 1024x768 so i cant really check this beside simple "paint tests") (max1800DPI for salmosa) - it has blue razor logo backlight, nice if don't sleep with PC on (wich i do, i will see how to turn it off later) - like salmosa it works without drivers
Generally i recommend this mouse over Salmosa, even if costs, ~25%more.
I was wondering, how easy is it to use for someone with big hands?
I've been contemplating getting a new mouse since my deathadder basically weighs a shitton and my wrist hurts after playing, and was considering the Salmosa. Might go for an abyssus instead now though, if its comfortable for someone with big hands
