I understand with other units there is difference between P and H but does that difference also exist with dragoons?

You use patrol to attack with your moving dragoons. In your case moving back? How is this a big dilemma? Also, hold position will make sure goons won't try to move somewhere to get into range of something they can't move to.

I thought patrol concentrates fire on the frontmost of units.

Gols can do some weird shit.. but it has to be super laggy for them not to auto fire intercepts. sometimes a stray one will walk all the way to the opponents main like he's sargent york trying take on the germans solo marines and medics get stuck just as much ![]()

In PvP only hold position occasionally when I chase an enemy who's retreating. But usually in PvP you always FOCUS fire in most situations. Even when retreating. Oh and sometimes I use hold when microing large amount of dragoons vs speedlots. Or small amount of goons vs small amount of zealots. Basically in situations where I wanna minimize damage inflicted on the goons. Where I really need to keep them alive. Mid and lategame there's just too much else to do, you don't have time moving your hand to the H button. Always a-move except in the situations above.
