I"m asian and i'm good at math because of my parents. Forcing me to memorize the multiplication table up to 9 at around 2nd grade and teaching me how to do algebra in 3rd grade. Other than that, nothing, but having this knowledge and as well as the study habits of asian parents (they had to work hard enough to do well in a country where they barely knew the language when they came in), can really help you down the line in more advanced math.
