The 2 most important things when dealing with a cold are lots of sleep and lots of fluids! A cold will usually last about 7 days...and if you try and treat it, it will last about a week. There really isn't anything you can do to make it go away much quicker. First generation antihistamines (Benadryl, Chlor-Trimeton, etc.) will help deal with the runny nose/cough/general unpleasantness, but they will make you drowsy =( =(. Vitamin C can't hurt, but it's not really proven to help very much. If you find yourself sick for an extended period of time (more than a week), then go see a doctor! Hope that helps =) | ||
