So, I was playing on my second account, because I recently changed some settings on my computer (including changes to the mouse sensitivity).
Rather than screw up royally on my real account, I figured I should play a couple of games on a different account.
I thought, throughout the game, that it was just a matter of time before his hydra ball ended up killing me. I was right. But it took a lot longer than I thought it would, and I definitely did better than I thought I would, considering I ran into a smurf (with a flawless ZvZ record, and I'm barely D+).
My average apm over 100ish games this season is 106. This game put me at 182, which was completely surprising.
Anyways, I know I screwed up - 2 lurkers would have ended the game in my favour, that and better micro..... And a number of things (like making some more drones).....
Anyways, it's a somewhat entertaining game, so, without further ado - here it is. It's also the highest apm I have ever had in a game. It is probably because I needed it to stand a chance in this game.
PS - Hydras are really good at lower level ZvZ when your opponent goes for mutas. It takes a lot of time to get enough of them, but they are really fucking effective once a large enough ball is built up, and some spores are in place.

I have used Hydra builds in the rare times that I do play ZvZ, and it make the games much more entertaining and more enjoyable. I just wish that the Hydra build and the Muta build in Pro ZvZ we're some how equal so we could have more variety.

I didn't know what kind of effect my mouse sensitivity change, as well as some other changes (time it takes for the computer to register each keystroke, as well as how long it takes before it considers it a "multiple click", etc.....) were going to affect my gameplay..... And, like I said, I am "barely D+", and I would like to keep that little + beside my nice little "D" until the end of the season.

There are automatic "delay" settings in Windows that can be changed. Finding how to change them is the fun part.
EDIT - I thought I would expand on this - I type at roughly 120 wpm on a normal keyboard, but my typing is slowed to around 80 on my laptop because of delays in sensing when I strike a key. I lowered the delay timings which were responsible for it not registering a click, or registering simultaneous clicks with two keys, among other fuckups. It is quite annoying when you are typing, to have to back track to fix a word because the computer didn't realize that you actually intended to strike that key.....
It's a lot better now.

I've lost to hydras many many times, so they're something to be afraid of definitely.

Well, less than a year ago, I would struggle to get 40 apm. I'm definitely happy.
Oddly enough - with that kind of apm, I did not end up as a D- player.....

I think this guy has practiced this build, which is why it was so successful. It was intended to make hydras. I was thinking he was going to go for lings, but when I saw he kept droning, well, I knew it was coming. My micro is not good enough to engage a ball of hydras and come out the victor.

yeah...but you're at the D- level of skill.

and wtf lurkers lol. can you post replay?

It's posted..... in OP.....
Again, for convenience.
EDIT - I did not directly engage, I went and sniped overlords when possible (he retreated into his main), or I went hunting drones. I killed a lot over the course of the game. However, my economy was shit.....
