The 90's is when Freddy Mercury died, and released his greatest works, imo The "Innuendo" album reached a level of artistry that is unrivaled in the earlier works. Although some may argue that "Bohemian Rhapsody" was a bigger cultural phenomenon and has more artistic ELEMENTS, I think that Innuendo just evokes a whole different scope of emotions that Queen had until then had not touched upon. I think this is significant because it is the album that was released around the time of Freddy's confession to having AIDS (or sometime after it), and was right before his death. | ||
