Then what about Nightend and Thorzain, who left praetoriani for better teams, essentially killing it? Almost all players start out in smaller clans to get their skills out there, it's a part of esports. No, he used VT as a steeping stone to get into a better clan(Comma) hes just a terrible person. He listed 2-3 different reasons on why.

Desrow just bad manners people and yells at viewers trying to help him out on his stream when he's clearly a poor player (given the amount of time he spends on the game). If Desrow played any race other than protoss he wouldn't get anywhere, his builds are so sloppy and unrefined that his arrogance is unwarranted, disgusting and, frankly, embarrasing. Any tournament level player would absolutely destroy him, because his basic game mechanics are so offbeat. No team should want someone like that representing them, which appears to be the case, seeing as he's switching teams every other day.

Wow, you actually come here and writing a book about a person trying to push him down on internet, you don't even now him. Man, get a hobby other than sitting infront of the computer hating.

I'm "writing a book" because if we, as in the Starcraft community, want eSports to be big, sponsorship is one of the biggest factors in making it a success. If we want eSports to be big, we need the people that are seen as being "top players" to be great role models, and for the most part, they are. Current sports superstars that garner bad press are almost instantly stripped of their sponsorships, and are often suspended. If we want eSports to be big, people like Desrow simply can't last. A foul demeanour is not something anyone wants to see.

A foul demeanour is not something anyone wants to see. And no, sports superstars can be divas and egoists and say stupid thing and still have their sponsors. Just look at fooball/soccer. What you are doing is that you just hate desRow and you do not think about the "best" for e-sport. And you say he's a foul demeanour. Who the hell cares? It creates tensions and makes a sport much funnier to watch. Im not saying that you should love desRow, but don't come here try to destroy his career by saying he's not worth is and so on.

Sports stars in my country get instantly fired, fined, or at least suspended if they do so much as badmouth someone at a bar. There are consequences for their actions, because they are role models. I don't know of a single sports superstar that wasn't almost instantly shamed for bad behaviour, a prime example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_Woods He is no longer respected or seen as a role model because of his behaviour off the green. There is a difference between bad behaviour, and a healthy ego. Many basketball players are famous for having huge egos. Idra is another good example of this, he may be arrogant, but he has earned the right to be so. He is respected by thousands of people. There is a difference between an ego and unwarranted arrogance/bad behaviour. desrowfighting: u better be there » dont dodge to fight those gooks Need I say more?

I'm stopping right here to respond to this because the rest of your post is probably as retarded as this statement. Desrow is no where on the level of douchebaggery and bad attitude as idrA. idrA calls every player trash that he loses to whines about imbalance and personally attacks well know players for no reason other then because he lost. If your going to make as such as a retarded claim as this then idrA shouldn't get sponsorship then. I welcome the legion of butthurt idrA fans that are going to go off on me know.

I'm not going to lie and say I don't like IdrA, I do. His attitude does need work, however, and many people have been telling him that (iNcontroL pretty much every single time on SOTG, etc), and he HAS been punished for doing so. I would also bet that words have been exchanged between him and EG about his behaviour. BUT, his community contributions have been outstanding, he's brought media attention to eSports and Starcraft, whilst hosting and contributing to tournaments, community discussions, and so on. The two aren't comparable, again: desrowfighting: u better be there » dont dodge to fight those gooks To add to the above post: On May 31 2011 00:50 Broesly wrote: There's no such thing as bad publicity, thanks for the hype Yes, there actually is. When I see someone like Desrow representing your sponsors, I will go out of my way to ignore them, and make sure I never use or buy any of their products.

Desrow is greedy as hell, he left vVv because he expected them to pay for his entire MLG experience when he'll just get knocked out in the first round. Now he's found a team who are in need of publicity and for some unknown reason have agreed to add desrow to their roster (and pay him, WTF?).
