I don't really have a problem with people getting more sponsor benefits than me, but I don't feel like it is deserved and therefore I feel insulted. You would be surprised at the number of top players (players that I'm sure even desRow would agree are above him) don't receive personal salaries from their teams. I suppose if you look at it that way I am jealous, but I guess it just goes to show how much self-promotion can do for you.
I'm surprised, someone who is on a good team with sponsors should know that they (sponsors) like people who can promote and get an audience as well as someone who has talent. While sponsors do look for good players they also like players that have an established fan base rather than just some ladder hero people have heard of but no one really knows who they are. It can be frustrating when you think you deserve more than someone is given but bashing someone's self made success and saying that you're "insulted" because they are given more than what you think they deserve, especially when you think you deserve it more, is just plain rude and disrespectful.
Again while talent does play a huge role in getting on a team, sponsors also like the possibility of having a player that can play the game at a semi-high level AND also has a lot of followers they can advertise their product/service to. Teams and sponsors find players more valuable if they have a name for themselves and a fan base before they have a big name team promote a player themselves. It's a lot harder for players at this level to get on a team when they do not have a following/fan base so in that sense I applaud Des in getting this deal since he has worked hard and made his own success before this offer was presented to him regardless of if he hurt your feelings or not in the process. To wrap this up I'm not saying that yes he deserves it or no he doesn't because that's not the point, the point is that you should understand why players are picked for sponsorships and that it's not solely based on their level of talent.

Desrow is way better than Pokebunny. His micro and macro both make Pokebunny look like a plat leaguer. You can tell that Desrow is a much better person too, by the number of us posting and defending him. Desrow said on his stream that people were making stuff up about him and here we are.
Anyways I call a 3-0 for Desrow in a Bo7 showmatch, with Pokebunny not showing up for the 4th game due to shame/embarassment.

I watch his stream and I have no idea how the hell he wins games, he's so bad.

Just to give a little prespective. Pokebunny is in the 5th round of open bracket going undefeated so far. his only 2 hurtles are agh and the winner of julyzerg vs catz.
desrow has no such tournament showing, wether it be online or offline.
I would donate to see pokebunny crash desrow. but i'd rather just hand the money to pokebunny. it'd take less time.

Every time a team signs Desrow or Deezer this kind of hate threat starts. It really shows why having a bad image can hurt your chances of joining a team and hurt the team that signs you. This same kind of stuff happened when that Brazilian team signed Deezer.
