I turn around slowly, and sure enough, Akiha's there, glaring at me.
"Do you have an answer, Nii-san?"
I swallow nervously.
"Well, um...
You see..."
Akiha continues to glare at me. I take a deep breath and try to continue.
"There's some important things I need to do. And, uh, I know I'm being selfish, and this really isn't much of an explanation, but please try to understand."
"I guess it can't be helped, seeing how stubborn you are. I suppose it's alright as long as you come home safe."
I look up in surprise. Akiha's expression seems softer somehow. Was she worried about me?
"Go get some sleep, Nii-san."
"Thanks, Akiha" It feels like a weight has been lifted from my heart. As I turn around and start to head toward the stairs, my eyes catch a glimpse of something-
"Do you know how worried I was? Do you have any idea what it's like, waiting for your loved ones to come home, not knowing whether or not they're survived the night?
Well, it seems like I won't have to worry about that anymore."
And she smiles.
Something is wrong. Something is very wrong. I feel pain, but only from my waist up. Writhing in agony, I try to feel for my legs.
My hands meet nothing but air.
Slowly, I lose my grip on reality and sink into unconsciousness.
The room's still dark. It must still be nighttime. I look at the clock. It's nine. Just about time to go meet Arcuied at the park. Who knows how long that idiot will stay there if I don't go. I move to get up.
X-men was a nice surprise, since I didn't watch the previous 2 collaborations by marvel and mad house. The characters look good, and storm actually looks pretty hot. Gintama came back parodying (what else) the year that they took off. How I missed thee. Tiger & Bunny is strange, but quite enjoyable so far. Go ustream/Skyhigh! brownie points for starcraft player and streaming starcraft. Steins;Gate just confuses me.
my priorities go to heroines with long hair, preferably straight long hair, preferably Black, blue or gray, preferably some what of a Yamato Nadeshiko, preferably less but slightly tsundere, preferably with a dramatic, sad storyline, preferably with a good end.

What do people think of the one off original animations by young artists project? [gg] is subbing them apparently. Haven't seen it myself yet, but it seems interesting.
Akiha gets such a lame intro in the final battle. "Inherited power" whoop-de-doo. I had 350 skill points left over, so I didn't know what to do with it, so I just dumped it into R. Shiki's atk for laughs. 10k for a normal attack is hilariously broken.
The final battle itself was easy. The "kill all 3 bosses simultaneously" requirement was retarded though. I felt pretty pissed when it appeared. The stupid boss camping on top of the tower was also not cool. Actually getting people into position where they could hit him was a pain.
Overall, the story was surprisingly okay. The plot elements meshed together decently well, and you could definitely tell it was written by Type-Moon fans. Character interactions after the final battle were pretty interesting too. Archer and Arc? Bazett and Sion? I could get used to that.
Also I don't get why people are saying KnK makes no sense before the 5th movie or so. I'm about to watch the 4th and so far things are clear to me. Movie 1 = A certain place at a certain time with Shiki already stable and capable of controlling her powers. Shiki and Mikiya working for a certain person that deals with paranormal activities, who is also a fine puppet master. Movie 2 = Another time. From here on, we can trace a line, which will be the timeline for the show. Shiki's and Mikiya's first meeting and so forth. Shiki reveals that she had an unstable personality (which is akin to Nanaya Shiki/Tohno Shiki), but viewers but might confused becuase it's SHIKI/Shiki thing, which was really Roa/Nanaya, 2 different people. Much like Shiki from Tsukihime, she has a killer's instincts, which cause trouble for her. In the end, she stops herself from killing the boy she loves. End. Movie 3 = Another time. Working for the pupeteer already. Shiki is stable and controls her powers. Encounter with Asagami girl reveals Shiki still has both her original hands. Plot pretty unrelated to the 2 movies prior to this one. Serves to give a little more background about Shiki, and to place the events on the timeline. From the movie we can deduce that the chronological order is: Movie 2 > Movie 3 > Movie 1, so far. Movie 4 = Starts with Shiki in hospital. We can deduce something happened after she stopped herself from killing Mikiya. She gained the Mystic Eyes and struggles to get her powers under control. Pretty simple addition to the timeline. 2 > 4 > 3 > 1 Also seems to be the puppeteer's 1st appearance.
Did people really have trouble with understanding this, or what other part did they have trouble with? Seems common sense to me.

There a bit more to it than that Movie 5 explains everything.
