Does anyone know what happened on day 2? The main stage computers were consistently lagging while the rest seemed quite fine. It is doubtful that LAN would help in a situation like that. SC2 could really use LAN but it's also become an excuse for any sort of poorly managed/setup tournament computers. From a troubleshooting standpoint it is really hard to imagine a situation where MLG wasn't at fault for day 2. Somehow only those two computers had connection problems and it was outside of their hands? Unlikely. If the computers themselves were at fault, switch them out. If the connection was getting bogged down with so many games running, cut out the no stage computers before the main stage. If there was a problem with the cable to those computers, re-run it. If they were using wireless, wtf. Very, very unlikely LAN would of helped but I'd like to hear if someone has inside information on what happened, I doubt MLG even wants it to be known.

If you want LAN for SC2, go learn how to program and do it yourself or crusade for everyone to stop playing it. Because that is the only way it is going to happen. You know why? Because SC2 has been pretty damn successful so far, it's practically a case study on why a game doesn't need LAN to succeed as a competitive game. Cool coverage and interviews all the same. Wh...what? "Learn how to program, and do it yourself" ? Is that seriously your argument? Did you not see what happened this weekend? It doesn't need LAN to succeed, but not having LAN is undeniably hurting this game. Apparently we don't have the right to ask for things that have been the norm in PC gaming for over a decade. Also great job spitting in the face of the content provider, then complimenting him afterwards. You certainly could've voiced your discontent in a more amicable, less petulant fashion if you really appreciate the coverage he gives. Thank you Bitter for the great work.
