I was driving to school today and was thinking about how many hours I spent at the arcade in old days playing X-Men vs. Street Fighter, and how I wish I had the money to spend on getting a set up for MvC3, since I don't even own a PS3 or XBOX360. Not sure how I'm going to do it, but I'll find a way.
For all those wanting a stick, Tournys are 20% off with the code kayane2011 on the gameshark store www.store.gameshark.com here is some more info on the matter, from the good people of SRK. + Show Spoiler +
Not a 100% combo but still fun none the less. I'm bummed you can't watch the current match being played during player match. There's no way I'm staring at a menu screen before it's my turn to play, that's a huge fail on Capcoms part in my opinion. Definitely spending most of my time in training mode.
sentinel looks surprisingly like the old broken robot in that one. Granted our old robot would have cancelled rp to hsf and gotten another launch, still pretty cool imo!
I remember Seth mentioning before that X-Factor could cancel a whole lot more things than just Hyper Combos, and nobody was using it to its full potential. Specifically, I haven't seen anybody cancel their own blockstun in any footage yet...until this training mode video:
I don't think anybody's really going to rush down grapplers on the ground, so it's not like you're going to see something like the above happen too much in practice. But, for example, I wonder how many blocked supers that people thought were safe could have been punished with blockstun XFC > HC ( > DHC)?

Yeah I posted this video a page back after I saw it and shat bricks. Obviously its extremely situational but the potential to KO the whole cast save for 4-5 characters (and knocking all of those 4-5 down to <10%) is unreal
I've always been thinking, after seeing Raging demon pass through a super, if its super/projectile invincible wouldn't X-factor (guard cancel just like that) -> Raging demon be possible? or is it too situational/not possible/not worth it?

Lol, I'm on blast. This thread moved too fast. I'm used to just hitting "last page" and seeing old stuff at the top of the page.
On a side note, I'm getting tired of trying to theory fighter a team at this point. I'm going to need some quality alone time in training mode. -_-;;

yeah I dunno i mean its really hard to say huh, this is sorta like theory crafting starcraft 2 during day 1 of the beta while people are still downloading the client or something lol.

That seems to be what a lot of other best buys are saying according to other forums.

I think at this point they are mirrormidons.
Anyone else as upset as I am that there is no spectator mode? I mean come on, the people waiting in the lobby are supposed to twiddle there thumbs and wait? Lame.

I'm sure I would be bothered by it if I had the game
That really is dumb though, hopefully it's something we see patched in. I never understand how every time capcom takes a step forward it takes two steps back somewhere else.
That TL lobby idea might not be so cool anymore if you just gotta afk while waiting your turn.
off topic, but we've had 2 myrmidons for years, caps Myrm and 2537, cmon people get with the program!
All about this game putting my schoolwork commitments to the test. The wait hurts, but knowing I'll get my hands on the game within the next 2 days is a little bit of relief, though right now it feels like it's taunting me.
