I had this shoes for like 6 years now. Of course not the same pair. I mean always the new edition with different colours. But now I'm getting cold feet again and snow is falling so I need some warmer shoes now. I thought of them, but they are currently sold out everywhere

Closest I could find (mine have a legit steel toe, and are of a slightly different design, but the rest is pretty much the same).

Those are some pretty heavy duty shoes. Does your work require that you wear those type of shoes (like do you work in construction or something), or do you just choose to wear them? I'm guessing the former because those would be pretty weird to wear in an office setting or something.

they're just slightly different (more sticks on the front of the shoe, so the nose is covered. Love them a lot, steel toe is so awesome ^^

Exactly the same except I've replaced the laces with fat bright fluorescent yellow ones that are a brighter color than the tick

I was wondering if anyone has owned this pair of shoe before and what their thoughts were about the durability (how long did they last you)? Also, what are the cons about this shoe? thanks! I used to have the older model of this shoe and they lasted me well over 4+ years. I still have them around and they are in rough condition, but definitely wearable.

I like them but I would probably go back to white sneakers. They just don't seem to go well with most jeans/trousers.

except with orange laces (courtesy of my cousin not wanting them :c) While I think these look okay, they aren't exactly meant for harsh weather. Does anyone have any recommendations for shoes that are durable/dry in rain (rainy months incoming for Davis, CA lol) but don't look too bad?

It is a shoe designed in the 1970's in China and is still one of the most sold shoes there. They are basically the converse All-Stars of China. Behold their timeless beauty:
