At the same time, I cant believe that there are people blaming the victim or otherwise suggesting that he was overreacting. If some old guy put his mouth anywhere near your dick, you know youd be disturbed. If that same guy then put his hand there as well, in the same night i might add, you know youd be beating the living shit outta him. The problem is that the victim is just a kid and couldnt possibly defend himself against an older guy. How can you possibly think that this kid isnt a victim here?

He took the available snipe at WeRRA players, and I think the inappropriate callousness of the comment is what got him banned; not the potential double entendre, even if he was aware of it. I don't think IdrA has any intention of making fun of somebody for being sodomized. EDIT: On topic, I feel terrible for WeRRa players that have, in reality, lost their home and gaming family. I'll be hugging CellaWeRRA on MSN tonight :<

Enter Idra, a smartass comment, and what has followed. Despite his penchant for not being "politically correct" or "mannered" or "a good sport in general", I would have never guessed he would stoop that low, seeing as he could have had the same thing happen to him. In a normal setting, while a bit of a low blow, this would be seen for what it is, an attempt at a joke. But people losing their jobs and an adult molesting a kid isn't something to have a LOL about over the internet.

If the mod thought that temp banning him was a smart heads-up way to nip this sort of thing in the bud, then well done sir, but everyone ripping on him is ridiculous. Anyways, he ate a temp ban, let's all move along.

Keeping in mind that this site is for discussion of SC progaming and not discussion of sexual misconduct, and given that IdrA's experience with WeRRa is from playing them in SC2 games, it's perfectly appropriate for him to comment on their play and what their disbandment will mean to him. If people want to talk about some off topic bullshit like the drama behind the disbandment, blogs would be a good place to start imo. ...How is this thread not about the sexual assault incident? It's the whole reason this is a thread and is even part of the topic..

I just hope this incident doesn't arise some "psychological" bullcrap where people defend the "coach" because in Korea they shun homosexuality. Ugh, that would annoy me to the skies and back down to the earth. People who make excuses for scumbags like him deserve to be thrown in jail with him. You commit a crime, you commit a crime and should be punished for it. God love and help the WeRRa members, and I pray they find a new home quickly.

U represent the hope of foreign sc2 competition, I don't care if you really think you are a "baller" as other people said. You and especially you should not behave like this. This is a sad story about a 15 yo kid who give up everything for something he loved. If you keep talking/acting this way, it's going to bite you back in the future. Imagine someone translated your post to the Korean forums, can you handle all the "boos" that you will receive every time you go on the stage? That's a pretty funny joke he told. I don't think it's an indication that he is not sensitive to the situation, nor that he is making fun of what happened to that kid. It's just a funny side joke that's all. Y'all are making too big of a deal out of this.

You see the name, you know what to expect. That's all idra was talking about. It might be insensitive and selfish, but its not a big deal. Place your focus where it belongs, on the main story. Rape isnt funny ok, any other member would have been banned. Would it make sense to ban idra from a site like this, no it would not. But at least let him know hes being a bad troll.

But at least let him know hes being a bad troll. It actually depends. If he meant that literally that WeRRa always does all-ins, then heres (kinda) the right place to post this, as it is about the WeRRa clan's disbanding If he meant it as a sexual innuendo, then it wasn't the right place to put it and the ban is completely justified. This would also be the right place to put it as a troll. But it's just a temp ban so who cares?
