I don't care how that game lasted much longer, because that is a bloody awful situation that is basically insta-loss. Boring. The JSL game I did watch all the way through, and Jinro played very well to start off, but blundered in the midgame. JSL did geta very quick (very ballsy!) 3rd base compared to jinro. What I did like from jinro was his 2 port, 1 banshee, 1 reactor production, forcing JSL to blow a lot of scans. What I did not like was his complete lack of dropship play despite having blue flame hellions and complete air control. He also overproduced vikings he didn't need, and his armoury stood for 15 minutes without a single upgrade. The +1 weapon upgrade is so critical for tanks! 3 shots to kill a tank, not 4, and 2 shots to kill a stimmed marauder, not 3. That's fucking huuuuuuge. And again he doesn't macro as strongly as he really needed to. What I saw from these games is that Jinro has some very good decision making and very solid micro. He knows how to get the most out of his opening and get ahead quickly. But his multitasking and his macro game both need improvement or his midgame is just going to suffer, as it did. What I take from it as a Terran player? Well, not much. I already do the blue flame hellion drop, which I do love. His metalopolis opening is about as standard as you get, so just watch that game if you're new and you're stuck trying to find a good BO to use. | ||
