Nazgul isnt to blame, he had to look out for his own interests... Would you fuck yourself over and ruin your dream because of this?
Also Venice -- that was kinda lame of you to tell I think. Now you put Nazgul in a very dangerous situation considering he was the one who told you now he could be fucked in Korea... Considering you had nothing to gain from telling anyone, except more people respecting you, this perhaps should have been kept secret considering Nazgul is the only one who could lose anything out of this. If Naz thought it shouldnt be made public, then you should have respected that as his friend (obvious you are friends otherwise he wouldnt have told you)
It probably would have been better waiting for the result of Daaman vs Dudey. If Daaman won then the secret would have had to of come out anyways and Nazgul would not of been jeopardized at all. If Dudey won, then Nazgul may have himself decided to tell people it was a farce, but it definitely wasnt your secret to tell...

why did they keep saying they were running out of time? when if this tournament was really to be run legit with all the money into it, time should not be an issue. Maybe PC room was gonna close or jinnam was really sleepy. HAHA.

after watchin some of the reps, there is no way all those games were dudey -_- im not sure if this is sad or humurous.
|
Possibly someone played as dudey vs testie just to make sure testie didn't make it? Possibly... if what rekrul says about dudey definitely playing veg[pg].
|
hmm, noone is going to korea.. if that is the case then that is definately grounds for a lawsuit thats assuming venice knows what he's talking about

it all fits. definitely a scam. if i was in top 32 (hell even if i had just paid for it) i would demand a refund.

I forgot, my position was so easy.
Protect a friend i know online(and dont you DARE think im not really sorry), or let more than 100 people know they were scammed out of 20 dollars and a HUGE amount of time.
Both choices are immoral, but one is right.

u should get moire than a refund look at all those people who played 200+ games
|
Daaman/Testie/Ret/Veg could probably sue for all the money made in the tournament, and the rest could probably sue for all of their money back.
|
i played more games than anyone on that tournament.
i played over 400 games total

Hey Hades I'm 100% sure the heads of AMD didn't haf ANYTHING to do with this, it was just pure Smuft/Elky, so Nazgul's "dream" wasn't on jeopardy if he would haf told everyone about it. The only thing would be he would no longer be Elky's and Smuft's friend SO WHAT? i wouldn't want that kind of friends anyway. I hope they fix this for all the people who PAYED for this. Don't say Venice didn't thought of Nazgul, i'm sure he did but he also thought about the other 100 people playing WDTour and paying their own money. Nazgul would just lose two "friends" Smutf and Elky.. while the other would lose TIME, HOPES, MONEY, etc etc..

Ya, protecting your friend is the right thing to do. It would have been different if you figured it out by yourself, but he is the one that told you, and you have to respect that. You never break a friends trust like that. The right position would have been to wait to say anything, talk to Naz about it (hes sleeping right now isnt he?), see what he thinks, give him a chance to tell people, and if he thinks that you still shouldnt tell then dont. Maybe he could put pressure on Smuft and Elky and tell them that he is going to tell unless he gives the money back to everyone who entered.
Maybe I just place more importance on trust than other people.
My main point is that this was not the right time. YOu should have conferred with Nazgul and talked to others about this before you said anything. Whether you tell now or 2 days from now isnt going to make much difference...
Now lets wait for Dudeys confession, I am interested in hearing who was playing for him.
