Take a look at your computing positioning as well. Might need to re-arrange it to put a bit less strain on your arms/wrists.

If it's not as bad as you make it seem then it's more likely its either bad circulation or carpal tunnel.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/de/Gray812and814.PNG/450px-Gray812and814.PNG The fact that's it both arms would most likely indicate that it's something up at the cervical spine level because otherwise it's very unlikely that you would have the same (well, I assume it's the same) symptoms in both arms at the same time. More than likely, something pressing/impinging on the spinal cord or some of the root ganglions up there. However, it could definitely be something else. Certain types of viruses infect and destroy nerves... seems like the radial nerve in your case. This generally tends to happen when you're extremely stressed out and your immune function drops.. but could also indicate possible auto-immune dysfunction. There's really too little information to tell so I don't want to scare you or give you hope or anything. The good part about if it is somatic/peripheral nervous system is that these nerves do grow back. If it's something up at cervical spine impinging that can be generally taken care of through good physical therapy. For what you can do right now... massage, exercise, rest. Blood flow tends to help healing process as most people said.

if this doesn't help soon i'd go see a doctor asap as something might be wrong with your spinal cord.
