About 10 months ago, around March timeframe. August and I played on B.Net for a few months prior and then he found some old SC players he played with in TL or something like that. I got in and played and learned a ton through these guys. But then some of the idiosyncrasies got to me and I was convinced by other RL friends to go to WoW. Well, WoW has worn its welcome and recently August wants to play more DOTA. So I'm back. I'm hoping this will keep me from being too micro rusty when SC2 comes out.

Anyone heard of a DOTA like mod for SC2 in the works?

the only item that's useful on every hero is dagon. all other items have limitations (i.e. bfury cm, dagger pudge, etc).
dagon does not. don't let anyone else tell you otherwise

today has been an eventful day
i was away at some ugly golf course resort thing with my parents, checking my email every 30 min (literally the entire day) to see any updates on the delivery of my new PC parts...
and to my surprise, when we got home, three beautiful boxes (not really, plain brown boxes) were gallantly stacked on my doorstep
i bolted out of the car (even while holding a cane on my left hand) and swiftly secured the boxes inside my parents' room, where the pc case was eagerly waiting to be filled with delicious technology
while unwrapping the components, i came across the oh-so-pro-looking OCZ GameXStream 700W Power Supply with the huge fan and crazy blue LEDs, and hurried to plug it to a socket

nothing...
"oh, this socket doesnt work," i thought... "lets try the one my monitor is using"
still....
nothing.....
..
..
..
