Hellll yeah Bo9 Grand Final is good, hopefully there is no bop. But cutting the player size from 24 to 16 kinda screw up some of the players plan to qualify. With only 2 rounds of WTL left, I am expecting more players will show up for the last round of KFC to catch the last couple spots.

I think making qualifiers on Christmas is pretty bad too.

Either you are dedicated, or you are not.

Is Christmas a big thing in Asia? Since that is the qualifier happening on the 25th. Europe, where it definetly is a big thing, will be on the 28th which is totally fine.

Good call on this. Christmas is definitely a Christian/Western cultural thing. Now, does that mean it isn't celebrated at all in China, Japan, Korea, etc? Of course it is. But it's not the same as EU/USA.
I lived in Japan for 3+ years and while I remember Christmas being around in that country when you go to malls and such, it was more for commercialism (cash in on the "holiday") than it was for a cultural/religious thing, which is why it's a "holiday" to begin with. Otherwise it's just a day to buy a ton of crap to give away to people. Which wouldn't constitute a reason to not work on that day.

So finally no more passive-agressive Notes above the group stage that assumes the SC2 community is the only one not smart enough to figure out this system? Neat! <3
