If a Porsche Red Bull is going to happen for 2026, it seems rather wasteful for Red Bull to sink all of this time and money into a new factory It is speculated that Honda is staying because this way VW can't get their IP via Red Bull when they enter F1.

I hope most of the interactions that involves Masi get mentioned a lot. Hearing the team leaders whining is awesome

There's nothing sensitive that he can take away, because you can barely understand how aero works through CFD, by eye is impossible unless you're Adrian Newey.

Not good news for the teams as far as travel goes. Definitely will burn out the travelling staff which is not great. Aside from the Baku/Canada and the Brazil/Abu Dhabi double headers though, they seem to have at least made an effort to limit the distance travelled by the teams in between the double headers which should help.

I think Im less worried about the double headers for the same reasons as you, except the Azerbaijan/Canada which has the same jetlag problem as the triple header. Im happy for 23 races as a viewer, but I recon its not that fun for the teams and drivers. Last year quite a few teams/drivers complained that its too much, so I wonder how long they can keep up with this tempo before they decide to cut down the number of races per season. Anything above 20 seems too much imo.

I do really like the looks of some of the new cars. The Aston Martin looks very sharp. There were photos of it during the shakedown they did and it looked great. The new nose looks way better on that car compared to the generic one the F1 people were showing off last year. The McLaren looks cool too, though I haven't looked too close at it yet. Red Bull's car was just a generic car with very few bits on it so there was nothing to learn from their car, and Haas's car was just a rendering of an earlier version of their car. The Aston though looks amazing.

Former Merc aero guy's channel on the new cars. Probably has better technical analysis than most pundits. Goes into a bit more detail as well than many analysts, and has the resume to back it up. AM definitely have some curious things going on.

Also the Mercs on Friday will probably put a real car as well so soon to the testing , hoping for a good close season at the top , not too concerned about who wins it but obviously would love my boys in red to win it all !!!

Thanks for that, the channel is golden with actual useful and factual info, unlike most F1 channels which are clickbait/gossip crap.

There were shots of Alfa Romeo's car at a private shakedown. It was covered in that patterning that makes picking out details tricky but what was noticeable is that the front wing looks completely different than what any of the cars so far have had. It's way flatter.
